THE iDOLM@STER ONE FOR ALL / Re: What's the name of your idol group?

CASCADE (starting with Azusa, Takane, and Chihaya). I'm not entirely sure why, it just sounded good.

About the communications:

The tables list an event name and the choice you have to take. Fortunately i understand enough japanese to make to be able to make the connection between the actual event and the event name, but i guess a lot of people don't. Wouldn't it make much more sense to write something that describes the event, so someone who understand no japanese knows which event he is in, instead of the translated name from the japanese wiki? Or at least add another column to add such a description.
As someone who doesn't understand too much Japanese, I think this would help. Some of the events do seem a bit similar at first, though; would it be feasible/plausible to include something about the first line of the event (whether from producer or idol)?

THE iDOLM@STER ONE FOR ALL / Duo/trio appeals?
« on: May 27, 2014, 10:13:27 pm »
Okay, I'm having a bit of trouble finding any information on these in the larger thread, so...how exactly do you use these skills once your idols have them unlocked? I take it these are just like using an appeal in S4U when you see 2 or 3 idols on screen at once?

Where do I put the code to get Flourish Flowery?
You enter it in the PSN store; unfortunately, I can't get to my PS3 right now, so I can't really describe where the option is in the Japanese store.

THE iDOLM@STER ONE FOR ALL / Season goals in Produce mode
« on: May 22, 2014, 02:45:03 am »
Here's what I've noticed for season goals so far; the bonus goals are red and in italics.

Year 1
Spring: Earn 3000/5000 money
Summer: Earn (?) 3/5 skill points
Autumn: Win 3/5 Fes events
Winter: Win 2/3 Rank Up Fes events

Year 2
Spring: Get 100,000/___ new fans (not sure on this one; I can't read enough Japanese to know for sure).

That's all I have right now. I think someone in the larger thread said something about having to earn 24000 points in one song as a later goal, but I'm not sure about that.

Speaking of these, anyone have any idea how best to approach the 100,000 fans goal? Right now I have the inactive idols set to look for fans (I keep them on EXP by default), but I'm not sure what else to do if I'm only going to have 12 weeks...

I've been making my idols skip entire ranks apart from the current playthrough's Azusa who's been doing the hard climbing. She's the one clawing her way up each step, but everyone else has been jumping from E3 to D3 to C3.
So do you advance another idol by making them the leader? I noticed that my Azusa is E1 right now, but everyone else (just Takane, Chihaya, Ritsuko, and Yukiho right now) is still E3, and I'm not sure how to bring them up.

I found out from 4chan that if you fail to achieve two seasonal goals in a row you're locked out of producing your main idol until you manage to complete another one, so beware
Fortunately, the season goals I've gotten so far don't seem to be too hard. I got "Earn 3000 money" first, then something to do with either earning or spending 3 skill points (probably the former), and my current goal looks like it has something to do with winning 3 Fes events.

Seems like after you hit the initial goal, you can get a bonus as well if you keep going and hit the second goal (always an upgraded version of that season's goal, and what you got before counts towards it). I missed that the first time around, but the second time I earned 5 skill points instead of 3, and I got a bonus 6000 money.

I hit winter after work before getting kicked off the TV today. Decided to add Hibiki. Has anyone else seen the Kotori loading sprite? I saw it for a moment earlier today. ;w;
I saw it once today, but that's it. A bit surprised to see it existed at all, but it's nice. I wonder if we'll ever get her as DLC again?

Minor forewarning, prepare yourself to NOT be able to pause to read all the text options in detail. So try to figure out which commu you're in early so you can know which text option to pick if you have to, because you can't pause to stop the timer so you can check the wiki then :P It's been minorly frustrating for me, since it was a saving grace in SP and 2.
Yeah, that was one of the first things I noticed when I started playing. I wonder why it was taken out?

I like some of the changes introduced in OFA so far, but there are still a few things that...confuse me, to put it lightly.
