Title: Forum and wiki rules
Post by: Kaminos on July 16, 2009, 01:03:02 am
The good old rules. Please read and accept them. They have been made in order to live in a peaceful community.

Respect the other members.
Every member is equal here, so don't boss other members around. Respect their opinions, don't flame, start personal drama, and the like. Racism isn't tolerated. Please keep swearing, cussing, etc. to a minimum.
This also means respect the staff here. Impersonations, hack attempts/threats, invasion of privacy and the like do not belong here.
Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team. Please use the “post report” feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned.

Threads go in the correct forum.
This should be obvious. You can still post something if you are not sure (the moderators will move the thread if it doesn't belong in the correct forum), but please keep some common sense.

No NSFW material outside of the adult forum.
This means please don't post anything not safe for work (pornography, hentai, etc), objectionable or borderline material anywhere in the forum.
A restricted adult section is now opened where you are able to post such (see "Adult section rules" below).
Pedophilia material (ie. real child porn) is not allowed here under any circumstances.

No spamming.
Self-explanatory. Don't fill up the forums with meaningless stuff. Don't post irrelevant or redundant material in threads or forums, especially not in a short amount of time.
Other types of spam include offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation etc.
Also, please avoid creating a new thread about a particular subject when it already exists. If you don't know, the search function is always open and works well.

No multiple forum accounts.
Please use a single account per person.

No piracy.
Don't post direct download links for material that may attract authorities (licensed music, game copies, etc), for obvious reasons. You are allowed to link to another website (this, of course, does not include file sharing websites).

No self-promotion.
Creating a thread with the sole purpose of promoting your blog or website is not tolerated. But you can always set those in your profile and/or your signature.

English only.
This forum is an english-speaking one, so please refrain from creating threads and posts in other languages. And try to keep your posts from being unintelligible and ensure they can be easily read.
Because of the nature of the subject, in some cases, you'll have to use Japanese; this is, of course, tolerated.

Keep your avatars & signatures safe.
Don't make NSFW material your avatar or your signature.

These rules also apply to the Wiki.
Every case will be treated accordingly; in any event, breaking the rules or pissing off the staff in any way will either get you warned or banned.

Adult section rules
A restricted adult section is now opened. There you can post all kinds of pictures, doujins, etc. containing NSFW stuff. It is hidden for members by default.
You need to be over 18 years old and to have a minimum of activity on the forum or the wiki (at least 50 non-spam forum posts; maybe less if you worked on the wiki) to access it. Spamming to get this amount will most likely get you banned, so please avoid that.
Once you have these, if you want access, do send either Yunabeco (http://forum.project-imas.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1) or Kaminos (http://forum.project-imas.com/index.php?action=profile;u=3) a PM where you confirm you are over 18 years old. If you have helped in completing the wiki, do notify us at that time.
