I'm under the assumption that this game is already running 1080p 60fps, so not sure what else the Pro could provide.

Most likely native 4k support, preferably with a supersampling option for owners of 1080p tv's. Maybe improved anisotropic filtering, and some minor extra flourishes.

As far as I am concerned, both Stella Stage and Platinum Stars have the best real time cel-shaded character models in the entire video game industry (objectively speaking, they have the highest polygon count, most detailed textures, and smoothest animations out of all cel-shaded games); would be awesome to see these models in crisp 1800p ~ 2160p resolution. *o*

Apologies for the hardcore graphics whoring lol, but far too often Japanese devs use the "anime-esque" cel-shaded style as an excuse to put as little effort into the character model composition as possible. It is quite refreshing to see something so technically groundbreaking in such a niche franchise as Idolmaster.

I thought PS4 is now lock on 30fps? Somehow when I play it didn't feel like 60fps.

I haven't heard anything about it.  (Then again, I'm under the assumption that this game is already running 1080p 60fps, so not sure what else the Pro could provide).

THE iDOLM@STER Stella Stage / Re: The Idolmaster series Numerical Classification

List A is the closest for the series I think except that Live for you should be a spin off and SP should be 1.5 the same as how shiny fiesta/shiny tv is a spin off of idolm@ster 2. Platinum stars is a 10th anniversary project, it should count as a spin off while stella stage is what platinum stars should have been. So the 3rd installment never exist in reality.

So essentially something like this?

The Idolmaster (arcade/ 360) ----------> The Idolmaster 1

The Idolmaster SP series (Psp) ---------> The Idolmaster 1.5

The Idolmaster 2 (360/Ps3) -------------> The Idolmaster 2

The Idolmaster: One for All (Ps3) -------> The Idolmaster 2.5

The Idolmaster: Stella Stage (Ps4) ------> The Idolmaster 3

Does the addition of new idols contribute to the way you place these games (Hibiki in Perfect Sun, Takane in Wandering Star, and Shika in Stella Stage) ?

I understand that Platinum Stars was a 10th Anniversary project, and disappointed many fans, but the huge graphical and gameplay overhaul is what leads me to believe it is the next landmark in the Idolmaster series. Stella Stage basically functioning as a "new and improved" refresh to the new standard introduced in Platinum Stars. I have yet to dip my toes into the Ps4 games, but once I get around to it I would definitely opt for Stella Stage over Platinum Stars considering the overwhelmingly negative reception of the latter.

Here's the way I personally see the landmark titles of Idolmaster:

Has there been any word on Ps4 Pro enhancements for Stella Stage? I have checked all over the place but to no avail.

And, I made another mistake.  I completely forgot about the trio full combo skill.  I'm sorry.  You're right.  When I did the song I got 3800 full combo bonus (the song was level 1 and Pro difficulty so the base combo was only 800 points.  But, I assumed the extra 3000 was from the trend, but I forgot about I had learned all the trio skills).

Thanks, for correcting my mistake.

Oh, I see.  I guess that would make sense about matching both costume and song giving you much higher appeal (though I haven't tested it out).  I do know for sure that the trend song gives you additional 3000 full combo bonus.

I just did the final IA using double trend (otherwise you won't beat the 98k required for ex clear), and i got 4200 points as full combo bonus. That's 1000 base on master difficulty, +200 for the song being rank 5, +3000 due to trio skills (my leader has all skills on the board unlocked). Are you sure your leader didn't just have all the chain bonus skills of the corresponding live type? How big was your full combo bonus? The highest possible chain bonus should be: 1000 base master difficulty + 450 rank 10 (not 100% sure about this) + 3000 skills + 1000 lesson = 5450 points. Did you get more than that?

@Naryoril

Thanks.

But, yeah.  Just wondering if it was worth doing her route.  Someone told me that you can unlock a few outfits for the idols, so that's something I should consider.

I'm not sure if there's something if you clear everyone's route.  I've not heard anything about it.  But, if you do get something out of it, please let us know.

Other than, that's all the questions I have.  Thank you everyone who answered my questions.  I realize most people go to discord to ask questions, but I posted most of my questions here so that everyone could benefit.

2.  Just curious, what do you get from doing that person's route/live?  I'm assuming you'll unlock her 4 songs and some scenes for her.  (I'm also assuming that only she appears in those scenes by herself without the other idols)

For one, you get the same as completing any other route: a trophy (iirc) and ofc story.

My guess is also that there might be something extra if you cleared all 14 routes, i'm still haven't cleared about half of the 765pro girls. It takes me about half an hour for each rank up live. I record them with the PS4 feature and then watch them again as video, where it's possible to pause. I'm not fast enough at reading for the producer's lines and some of the idols talk too fast for my listening skills (looking at you Ritsuko). It also helps when you have to make a choice during the story sequence. I'm currently doing 2 rank ups a day.
