General chatter / Re: General every day life photos
« on: January 03, 2015, 07:37:01 pm »

As I probably said before, I'm a virtual pet enthusiast - not just Digimon, but pretty much all the other lines as well, so I figured I'd drop in and introduce everyone to my current Tamagotchi, Moriritchi.  Nothing else much to say right now, aside from the fact that she's being raised on the Tamagotchi iD L 15th Anniversary version.  :)

General chatter / Re: What Anime Are You Watching Now?
« on: January 03, 2015, 07:28:40 pm »
Guess what virtual monster series is getting a long-due follow-up in Spring 2015?

My reaction in the most eloquent manner possible.
Same response here, and a brofist for you as well.  Needless to say as I have been a Digimon fan from day one (Even before the anime started), I for one am pretty darn stoked for Adventure Tri.  I hope that the plotholes that were left in the first two seasons are filled in here (Mostly in regards to the Demon and Dagomon arcs from 02).

Not watching anything in particular right now as far as anime goes, but I'm keeping my eyes open for potential series to check out.  :)

Came out of hiding (Well, at least around here!) to announce that I'm looking for rivals in the 3DS version, as well as the Wii U version when it comes out.  Necessary contact info is in my sig for those who want to face off with me at any point.  Mains are Pac-Man, Duck Hunt, and Morton.

Which reminds me, I need to be active here more often... sorry about my sudden disappearance earlier this year.  That probably will not happen again.  ;)

Characters / Re: Ami and Mami Futami - TWINS?!

Happy birthday to the Futami Twins!

I remember leaving a joy buzzer somewhere to be used in their next prank, but I can't remember where I left it... oh well.  ;D

Add Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2 to the list of games I'm currently playing.  I'm also awaiting the chance to buy Animal Crossing New Leaf (3DS) and Kamen Rider Battride War (PS3), the latter of which will be my first Japanese import PS3 game.

(On another note, I'm still upset that the 1.03 patch for Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires seems to be Japan only at this point, with no signs pointing to an international release.  You know, the one that's supposed to fix some bugs and add more hair colors and whatnot.)

Edit 5/9/13 Editing to avoid a double post.  As of right now, I'm also playing Hokkori! Tamagotchi-na on Mobage if that counts as something.  (Yes, that's the same Mobage service that IM@S Cinderella Girls is one of the games on, though I haven't started that game yet.)  I have one of the special characters from the current event in my garden right now.

Pissed.  Couldn't get on for days so I thought the site was down, only to find that everyone's been posting all along.

I hears ya.  I also hate when that happens, especially at other forums that I participate in.  ::)

I'm in a good mood, as plans to get another Tamagotchi (Specifically the newest Japanese release) for my v-pet collection are being made as I speak.  If not via eBay or something, via a trip to Los Angeles and an import store near there that I have planned for early to mid summer.  Oh, and also because of Animal Crossing for the 3DS coming out soon.

However, let's assume it takes one second to say Happy Birthday. There are 86400 seconds in one day, thus making it impossible to say that in the space of one day. You would need to say that once every 0.0864 seconds (or 11.574 times per second), without breaks, in order to accomplish this.

Thus I say your punishment is null and void.

Haha, so epic and so true.  :)

Back on topic... Happy birthday, Iori!  I'll be back momentarily with a huge cake, considering no one actually bought one in yet.  :D

Other iM@S games / Re: Finally: iM@S Officially in English!
« on: April 23, 2013, 03:13:28 pm »
I summed my feelings up in my post in the PSP version's thread.  To put it short, "thanks but no thanks."  If they do something on a higher level (Like an actual console release or something), then maybe this fish will bite.  8)

And by "maybe," I mean I will tell Namco to "shut up and take my money" for sure.

*Gets shot for utilizing overused Futurama meme*

THE iDOLM@STER SP (PSP) series / Re: Idolmaster Shiny Festa
« on: April 23, 2013, 03:01:07 pm »
...gah.  Just, gah.  I can understand putting out $55 for a console title, but for an iOS release?  As much of a fan of iM@S as I am right now... no thanks.  The shoddy translations don't help much either.  They should have just released the xBox 360 and / or PS3 games if they wanted to release something.

Oh well... at least they tried.  They just need to try harder.  8)

Right now I'm buying everything needed to play Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures for a friend gathering in summer. The first thing I need are the GBAs. The first one just arrived and I've never seen something so horrible and neglected. Why do people do this to their portables?! ;A;

*Ugly GBASP snip*

Ewww.  That also makes me upset to see that.

Still playing Digimon Unlimited, DW7E, and WWE 13, and have added Tecmo Bowl Throwback and Soul Calibur V to the list of games I'm playing.  Starting from scratch with my SC5 edits - I had quite a few before, but they were nowhere near as good as I can do now.

And if they count, some Gundam AGE electronic handhelds that I'm playing right now and have had since mid 2012 - the AGE Device and the Gage-ing Haro.  The Haro's gameplay is very much similar to the Gage-ing Battle Base arcade game that was running in Japan until early this year if I am not mistaken with some minor simplifications - aside from the graphics being greyscale and not as high quality as the actual arcade game, it seems pretty accurate from what I've heard about the Battle Base.  I found it cool that the AGE Device basically stores your user data, experience points, etc. and allows you to power up via minigames.

I'll be posting a review of the AGE Device and the Gage-ing Haro at some point for everyone to read here.  :)

Currently playing Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires and WWE 13 on my PS3 for the most part, and Tecmo Bowl Throwback will be added to that list when I get my $10 PSN voucher for the deal they had going in March ($10 free for every $50 spent).  I actually made Makoto, Ritsuko, Ami, and Mami in DW7E, though they probably need a bit of fine tuning before I actually upload them.  I plan on making the others too.

Oh, and Digimon Unlimited for Android if that counts.  Currently raising a DeathXDORUgamon, with hopes of obtaining a DeathXmon once he's fully evolved.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

darkarn - No... at least not yet.  ;)

Yodudes0 - Great to see another Digimon fan here!  ;D  Right now, my favorite Digimon would probably be BishopChessmon, though Shoutmon X7 (From the recent Digimon anime, Xros Wars) comes in a very close second.  On another related note, if you have an Android phone or tablet, you may want to check out Digimon Unlimited if you like the Digimon Pendulum v-pets.  *Runs*

Characters / Re: Haruka Amami - Main heroine
« on: April 03, 2013, 02:39:08 am »
Happy birthday, Haruka!  Now where did I leave the cake?  Oh wait, someone already handled that?  Okay then... never mind.

(Don't have much else to say or a pic to share like everyone else, but it's the thought that counts, right?  :) )

Welcome Center / WarOmnimon, sanjou! (Or... WarOmnimon has arrived!)
« on: April 03, 2013, 02:36:47 am »
...and with those words, I have stepped into the Idolm@ster fanbase, with a loud thud...

Ahem.  Enough goofiness.  :P  Name's WarOmnimon and I will not be afraid to admit that I am a bit new to this particular fanbase, but have been an Idolm@ster fan for a few months now.  I also happen to collect virtual pets, mostly Digimon and Tamagotchi - I have quite the collection, including many Japanese versions.

Now to answer Roninantor's questions...

Q: How did you come across this site?
A: Mentioned it above, was looking for information on the series and came across the site's Wiki.

Q: Why did you join this site?
A: For the fanbase.

Q: Do you play it?
A: I'm planning on doing so once again very soon - played the PSP version briefly but didn't make it too far in my first run.

Q: Who is your fave idol?
A: I have three.  In no particular order... Makoto, Haruka, and Takane.

Q: Why is your username "WarOmnimon"?
A: "War" from WarGreymon, and "Omnimon" is the english dub name for Omegamon - both are Digimon.  Been my online handle for years now, and I don't see it changing any time soon.

Q: What are you in to right now?
A: Idolm@ster (Of course), Digimon (That's Imperialdramon Paladin Mode as my avatar by the way), and anime and tokusatsu in general.  I also happen to be in my third year as a power lifter in the Rhode Island special olympics.

Q: What is your motto?
A: Don't have one right now.

Q: Who's your favorite singer(s) right now?
A: JAM Project.  Wings of the Legend is epic.

Q: What are you up to right now?
A: Not much, except filling this questionaire out.  :P

Q: Do you have any expectations from this site?
A: Not directly as of right now.
