Cute's Top idols election wise pretty much hasn't changed since the first election. Compare to Cool which shifts a bit, and Passion which is all over the place as usual.

I know the Cinderella Girl crashes in the next election but I didn't think Shuko would miss the Top 15, really unexpected.
I'm happy that Kako is in Cool 15th, though.

Also, this is the first election that's running after the start of Starlight Stage, but I'm still figuring out how much effect it has.

I find it amusing they went for Four Lords as the name of the sub boss. Like, they could have given us three more roles right there...

Someone made a twitter bot that posts the current votes every hour: https://twitter.com/ml_castvote

Anyway what's going on with the voting

Wanderer: Julia in the lead with Tsubasa somewhat coming up second  Iku third with a quite bit
Heiress: Momoko leading with Chizuru and Emily having a fair showing
Gang Member: Tamaki in the lead because she calls Producer Oyabun a lot and the roll's name is Kobun (Mirai in second)
Evil leader: Matsuri and Hinata swapping first all the time, even though Hinata Ps came up with the idea after a while
Bodyguard: Noriko leading, with Shiho in second and Umi in third.

Oridinary Girl: Kotoha due to perceived normalness, trailed by Kana
Childhood Friend: Megumi and Minako swapping first, Megumi because Tristar and friendliness, Minako because cooking/personality
Transfer Student: Elena and Karen vying for first, Elena Ps want new roles for Elena and also Tristar, Karen for timidness
Club President: Mizuki leading with competition from Konomi
Spirit: Reika and Sayoko from the start with almost the same amount of votes

Hero: Yuriko and Anna going for top because they're gamers, although Anna Ps were initially so split they weren't winning anything
Demon Lord: Tomoka in first, because it's Tomoka (Matsuri's trailing in second)
Fairy: Serika ran away with it
Sub-boss: Nao and Arisa going for first, both on the assumption that they will be comically defeated
Villager: Roco ran away with it from the start when Roco Ps figured out what to do early, also Roco can stand out even as Villager A.

Reika ghost would hilarious to see, but I'm hoping for Kotoha-Megumi-Elena ultimately.

But the clock did tick though???

Oh whoops, I meant it didn't tick on the rooftop when they were supposed to be coming to terms with each other. Even though the clock was visible. It did tick, but only after Rin made her decision on Triad.

Hmm... That resolved rather conveniently.

I don' think anything actually resolved this episode. In the end Uzuki got darker without being able to say anything, and Rin went to Krone without really understanding how left behind Uzuki feels. And for what, even. None of the members of Krone even looked at each other in the ending. If anything I think this episode creates more problems for the future.

And this episode the clock needle at the end didn't move forward this time, so they haven't gotten anywhere. .

Also, where's Kyouko? She should be there…

Characters / Re: Idol Nicknames
« on: September 03, 2015, 02:11:49 am »
Chanmio is used quite often, it was in the Twitter trends after last week's episode after all.

Speaking of Mio, Mio has a huge list of nicknames she calls all the other idols, many of which she came up with during her segment on the radio Cinderella Party.
http://dic.pixiv.net/a/%E6%9C%AC%E7%94%B0%E6%9C%AA%E5%A4%AE#h2_9

I might go through this, it'll take some time.
Shiburin had been a common nickname before Mio used it though.

A-chan/Ah-chan (あーちゃん) for Aiko is from Mio.

Kirarin (きらりん) for Kirari in general.

And I was reminded from Uzukiel, but
Chieriel (チエリエル) and Archangel Chieriel (大天使チエリエル) are used a bit as well.

Miku-nyan or Mikunyan (みくにゃん) for Maekawa Miku

Aiko's joke nickname is Drum Can (ドラム缶)in Japanese (as opposed to barrel).
And if joke nicknames are allowed, might as well add 72 and Manaita まな板(Cutting Board) for Chihaya.

Will all the scattered Imas topics in General Chatter go here if the board sticks?

Video of the Side M live

Part 2

These guys are fun to watch. I think Jiro's voice fits great

I guess I did expect main trio + movie back dancers, but then I noticed the Akane magnet on the whiteboard that 765 wrote on... Hmm!

I was surprised to hear them pronounce Primus as "Puriimasu" instead of "Puraimasu" in the show. Has it always been pronounced that way in  this franchise?

It's been pronounced that way since the unit was introduced.
I think they chose the word just to mean 'foremost' or 'best' or 'premier'  from its Latin meaning, and I'm sure any irony associated with the name is lost on the Japanese.

I knew SEM was coming sooner or later, glad to see. Wasn't expecting W but okay.

Altessimo, Cafe Parade, and Mofumofuen I'm wondering how they're gonna do if/when they get to them.

12
I think the solo is partially because feelings of abandonment and/or betrayal. Maybe too strong but not impossible either.
I've seen a few different interpretations of her decision though.
Of course Nao and Karen seem to be moving exactly as Mishiro wants so I expect something about them to come up in the anime too.

I just really want to point out that when the clock went foward in Mio's room, the clock in Uzuki's room went backwards.

13
I concur, but if you think that's bad, poor Ranko-chan has literally been reduced to cameo status! Certainly not happy-happy... ;~;

I think that Ranko will end up sharing an episode with Love Laika. But she could have shown up more yeah

I don't know that the characters who show up will actually get voiced. It'd be nice it it happens though

That puchi office is customizable and looks fun and puchi Yukari and Sarina interest me.

As far as the rhythm game part goes I just want to go with easy mode.
And it looks like there's a camera button too, I wonder how much we can play with that.

I guess they're saving Yumi and Takumi to support the 9th wave whenever they get to that.
And I'm still hoping they surprise us with someone we haven't heard yet.

I want to see the Sanae Yuko Shizuku trio complete but we don't have to wait for CD debuts for that to happen now.

I hope that Columbia just releases CDs faster, though I can see they are busy with the anime.
