Man, I haven't been on here in YEARS since iM@S 2...but the time to buy a PS4 has come. Everything looks so beautiful, and it feels good to be excited about iM@S again.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm hoping for a PS4 release. It would give me yet another reason to get one, not that that's a hard choice already. I sure hope to see more of 876pro and Jupiter, as well as RK being produceable again (including Ritsuko). I really missed Azusa. >.< I'd love to see some of the CG girls as well; the more idols, the merrier.

I just got back from Japan a couple weeks ago. I picked up Groovy Tune for 2980 yen in Akihabara. Factoring in shipping, is that reasonable compared to online?

I would buy the game if it were on any OTHER system...I wonder why they chose iOS? I have an iPod Touch 4th generation and it says it's compatible, but with my luck, I'd buy the game only to have it crash every time it tries to load. By the way, for those who have purchased it, how much space does it take up? It seems like it would take up quite a bit.

I'm going to Japan this summer anyways so I might as well pick up the games there, like how I did with SP. I feel like a console/handheld is a more reliable system than an iPhone or iPod.

However, the game is the type of localization any iM@S fan would want. Too bad they just didn't release it on the PSP. Unless this is simply a prelude to things to come...

Fuuka is totally Azusa 2.0. If she ever made an appearance in the main series, I'd love to see interaction between them. She's Azusa's long-lost twin. XD
Speaking of the main series, somehow I could picture the Million Live girls in an actual main iDOLM@STER game more than the CG girls. Even if some of them look similar to existing characters, they seem as if they were made with that intent. Not that I'd mind...

I'm really excited for the movie, but hopefully it won't end up being a stereotypical plot focused on Haruka, Miki, and Chihaya meltdowns that occur at different points in the story with hardly any screentime for the other idols except for comic relief like the anime basically. It would be cool if it was about them going on a concert tour and we get a lot of cool concert scenes...then again that's a bit stereotypical too, but they're cool. Hopefully we'll see some new songs too.

When doing the "Carry out all Idol Promises" Goal in free produce, does coming late after telling your idol you'd be back at a specific time, and I mean at the end of a day where I save and finish playing, count against the goal?

Also, in the event of a tie after an audition, priority goes to the player doesn't it?

I believe it does.
And yes, if you tie for first (or any "winning place") in an audition with one of the CPUs, you'll automatically be considered the winner.

When Takagi presents the image report of the current trend, what causes my image level/stats to go up/down after I'm done reading it?
Also, I'm trying to boost my dance stat with outfits and accessories, but I'm not getting improvement. All I can do is do lessons to raise it while I am able fluff up my other two stats. Any clue what's going on here? If it helps, I used a dance song for more than 9 weeks which I know I get penalties for using one for too long.

To boost your dance stat, I recommend wearing a Cool & Sexy outfit (or any Extend outfit, if you've bought DLC, that raises your dance stat) and a dance accessory, then for your remaining accessory slots balance it out with Vocal and Visual ones. It may take a small toll on your Vocal and Visual categories, but a few Vocal/Visual lessons will make it up, and it balances out all three of your stats. Image loss is typically due to using a song for too long, or if you make an appointment with a reporter but don't show up. It's also best to switch up the types of songs you use from time to time.
