Alternatively it might mean you're deserving of that much effort being put into chastising you.

Just a thought.

General chatter / Re: Skype

magenta.galaxy here. Chatting with some more im@sians could be pretty fun <3

Hello! I represent a conglomerate of two absolutely insane people who thought it'd be a good idea to translate and essentially 'sub' Dream Symphony.

I've been working on Ellie's and tossing a song or two a day up on YouTube as of late, and now Ellie's is done and the immediate threat of receiving my copy of SRW Z2 tomorrow will probably mean I won't get much work done on Ryou's any time soon, I thought it'd be a good time to link it. XD

Any critique translation-wise would be much appreciated. I had a bit of trouble with my encoding settings early on, so if the first few songs sound a little off I apologize. It's fixed now though and both Mahou wo Kakete and Omoide wo Arigatou should be indicative of the general standard <_>

I might redo and reupload the ones that sound a little off but it's not that big a deal I think?! idk. Anyway, please enjoy!

Yup, that's true. But that's the thing - your first playthrough is essentially automatically bunk, so you might as well get as much 'worth' out of it as possible. XD

I picked Hibiki first time through unaware of the stat curve and was very annoyed the game was essentially forcing me to play through as her again to actually see her best ending. It worked out though cause I got Beyond the Stars so not really complaining. XD

You get the outfit upon completing the game after having Ritsuko successfully perform at a Quintet Live. Make sure you invite someone else alongside her who's likely to turn up. XD

Honestly the best thing to do is use your first play to farm a ton of money, get Beyond the Stars and Palace of Dragon, and then buy a ton of good accessories from the shops. Chances are you're not getting a best ending on that playthrough anwyay D:

It may make me unpopular but I'm forced to agree. That constant tone of condescending negativity directed at everyone other than oneself does nothing to contribute to either a positive, welcoming tone in these forums and very rarely does it contribute anything to a discussion.

Whilst being a relative newcomer here it probably isn't quite as much my place to call into question Scotty's deservingness of his position - he's had it since long before I joined this place - it does strike me that so many of his posts really seem to have overall negative effects on the topics in which they're posted. Is that, in and of itself, not perhaps an idealized definition of what deserves moderation? Whilst an inability to post well oneself is not necessarily an obstacle to noticing when other people aren't posting well, I do have to wonder what exactly Scotty contributes around here besides making other people feel bad for posting with the best of intentions.

Watching such negativity gets tiresome after a while. I can only imagine what it must be like to spew it.

It's based on your idol rank. The higher the rank, the harder lessons are, and hence the more the bar fills up.

IIRC, it's possible to steal a High Tension Perfect with A-A-A-A-A-A at Rank B, and it becomes slightly more lenient at Rank A/S (You can have a B or two, basically.)

Yeah, that's the dialogue he has when you get #1 in the charts. He's all "this is the happiest moment of my life ;.;" and breaks down crying - the uuu is just him sobbing, not doing yayoi's "u-uu~" thing XD

ALSO GOD I REALLY LOVE THAT SONG. It's so different from anything we've had playable before and maybe gives me hope for Reimei Starline being in one day.

One day. D:

Vs. Ryuugu Komachi (Week 10) - Forced Loss
Vs. Ryuugu Komachi (Week 21) - Must Win to Progress
Vs. Touma (Week ...34?) - Forced Draw
Vs. Jupiter (Week 54) - Must Win to Progress

And apparently just in time, PV7 subbed

I made a tiny small mistake in the lyrics for Kosmos, Cosmos (blended two lines together and ended up with 'tsumetai sora no kanata' rather than 'tsumetai sora no haruka') but it has like, no effect on the meaning so I'm not too fussed

Have a subbed version of the DLC Catalog 1 video:

Because I have nothing better to do with my weekend, I guess. D:

Also re: Seasonal auditions, you're really not meant to be able to do all 4 in the same playthrough, which is why they have the obscene entry requirements. 4 Seasons is something you earn slowly over your playthroughs by starting at different times - I ended up getting mine on my 3rd play (Winter on first, Autumn/Winter on second, then started in July and did Spring/Summer on third)

Certainly if you're trying to do all 4 in one playthrough, that's a noble goal, but just know it's deliberately designed to be nearly impossible. XD

I'll personally be disappointed if MA2 songs end up getting in there somehow because it'll pretty much kill any chance for the Master Special songs to make it. I mean, I want Nemurihime as much as the next guy, but more than Mythmaker? More than arcadia? More than LivE? No way.

I think this is pretty much their last chance D:

I think we all know who the true idol of ages past is.

And that's President Kuroi.

Except that, in a PLAYTHROUGH, you do have all this stuff. It's just you have to unlock it in S4U - which seems perfectly sensible to me. S4U is a mode to experience all the content you've seen - and if you haven't seen it playing the game then I think it's fair to not let you trivialize that first experience by just checking it out in S4U.

Personally, I'm really looking forward to capping my playthrough off with a rousing performance of my song. I think I'd enjoy it a lot less if I had the option to inevitably give in and watch it in S4U first.
