Someday Kyoko, someday. Hopefully the anime will give you a voice. But congrats to Arisu, Syuko seemed to have the poll in the bag. I love both so it's a win-win. The top 10 looks very nice, didn't expect Miyu to make 3rd place.

Her voice will be provided by Amina Sato, a former AKB48 member!

From what I have heard, the voice fits perfectly. I'm glad the see at least one of the AKB0048 cast getting more work.
I want Karen Iwata to voice a CG now. ;_;
So there was a poll for a new CD called LIVE THE@TER SELECTION. It was something like the CG popularity poll, and the top 5 MLs would appear on the LTS.

*Corrected* top 5 (in order):
1. Anna Mochizuki
2. Yuriko Nanao
3. Shiho Kitazawa
4. Konomi Baba
5. Emily Stewart

I don't have much info on the CD itself. If anyone could find the details for the CD, that'd be great.

Whoa, strong feelings in this thread. I guess I'll throw in my two cents.
I strangely like when this topic comes up.
My initial feelings were the exact opposite of most in the thread. I welcomed more idols at first, but it was when voices were given to CGs and more were being created that I started to get a bit annoyed. I realized the sheer number of idols was holding CG back, and it doesn't help that it's extremely lazy in developing the idol's personality beyond their quirk. The music in CG is great and most CGs have very nice designs, but without substance they're beginning to fall flat. With ML, I believe they were handed everything in order for them to catch up to CG in terms of popularity and that push backfired significantly. The ML girls are actually really nice after listening to the drama tracks, reading translated lines, and their manga is shaping up to be pretty good. Although, there are a few MLs whose designs/voices/etc. still get on my nerves.

But here's a question I like to ask: what do you think would be most beneficial to CG/ML?
And don't say "REMOVE THEM FROM THE FRANCHISE" out of spite, it's not very productive and, if it were to happen, would certainly tick off the fans who like them.
CG: I've said it before, but I'd wrap up the Cinderella Masters around 50 and then build off that cast. That's just to match with the now expanded 765. CG severely lacks in keeping their idols interesting due to its popularity-centered nature. Getting voiced is an achievement, but all goes quiet after they're voiced. I see it as the fans saying, "Yay, [insert CG] is voiced! On to the next."
ML: I actually haven't thought much about ML because it's showing improvement. The LTHs have shown an improvement in terms of music, idols are represented much more equally than the ones in CG, and they now have a story-driven manga to help out with developing them. They seem to be giving things a bit more thought than CG, at least.

I gotta say, some of these unit selections are WEEEEIRD. Crescendo Blue having Shizuka, Shiho, and Reika sounds perfect but I don't think Serika and Akane were the best choices. They seem to clash way too much. Eternal Harmony's selection feels.....random. I dunno, it just does.
I thought the same with Crescendo Blue, tbh. Like those three are a perfect unit then Akane and Serika seem so random... Oh well, I'm sure it'll turn out well either way.

The second unit seems like it could work pretty well because with the exception of Julia it's all easygoing idols, then the leader is Chihaya... *shrugs*

Reeeally late to jump in on this topic, hehe.

I think you guys are, or were rather, thinking in terms of vocal ability, maybe? If so, yeah, Akane and Serika are a bit out of place. But on a character aspect, I think Shizuka and Serika are most likely best friends and Shizuka and Shiho do tend to clash and have some sort of rivalry, as depicted in that nice, over-the-top trailer. I have no idea what Shizuka, Shiho, or Serika's relation to Akane or Reika, though.

As for Eternal Harmony... Yeah, I dunno. But so far the unit episodes are turning out to be fun. Emily's English does things to my heart.

So, either this game is still down or everybody just stopped caring and ignored the game. I'm curious, IS the game still down? Cuz if it is, then this must've been one HELL of an issue that would take almost four whole months to fix. Seriously.....

I believe the game is still down. Actually, there are still some that care for the game because the SMs still get birthday art. There's supposed to be an event for them, but there isn't much info for it.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say they're finding VAs for all the male idols. It's a stretch, but the reason they gave for the game being down is that there was a problem with the servers. I highly doubt it would take it this long for a server problem and adding VAs seems to be the only thing I could think of that would cause the game to be still be down.

The next wave will have Yuki, Fumika, Momoka, and Nina. I predict Kyoko will get the fifth spot, she's been consistently popular from beginning.

With Kyoko voiced, Namco has the opportunity to release unit CDs if they want/realize it. A TP, Mio-Aiko-Akane unit, and Uzuki-Miho-Kyoko one.

My wallet isn't ready.

New produce mode and units unveiled... from what I can tell, it's a mode where new stories are added every week, and you play through them?

The first unit is Legend Days, and composed of Iori, Ami, Yayoi, and Ritsuko with Hibiki as the center. Their song is "Aikotoba wa Start". The second unit, Otome Storm, is led by Mirai and includes Tsubasa, Mizuki, Yuriko, and Anna, with the theme song "Growing Storm".

I don't play ML but this seems interesting enough, and I hope it leads to more CD releases!

Iori, Ami, Yayoi, and Hibiki, huh? Why must they be so afraid to go against the norm? And by stories, are they going to be akin to routes, like in the console games?

I'm pretty excited for this, this means we might get unit CDs now!

Happy birthday, Ami and Mami!!

Anyone know where I can read about the information on the CG anime that was in Megami?

I've searched in both English and Japanese, but I can't find anything.

Uzuki confirmed as Main CG.

http://zakitakubu.com/2014/04/26/the-idolmster-cinderella-girls-tv-anime-to-air-2015-and-shimamura-uzuki-to-be-main-heroine/

I am OK with this. Even though I don't think she'll get to show she's the real "heroine" with other popular CGs like Rin, Sachiko, and Ranko around.

Hopefully the anime focus on Uzuki (and Rin and Mio) + 2-3 other CGs an episode.

Here are the election results.  Colored names indicate top 3 of each type.

1. Shibuya Rin - 253,329
2. Abe Nana - 202,083
3. Ogata Chieri - 195,744
4. Shimamura Uzuki - 162,606
5. Honda Mio - 132,458

6. Sagisawa Fumika - 126,045
7. Takagaki Kaede - 122,163
8. Himekawa Yuki - 107,763
9. Koshimizu Sachiko - 96,224
10. Hojo Karen - 94,369

11. Shiomi Syuko
12. Takamori Aiko
So the Cutes are all voiced, and we have Fumika and Yuki as new voices.

I'm glad Uzuki made it, and the Mio alliance must be in a pit of debt. I feel Chieri's voice might get drowned out by Uzuki and Nana. Mio and Yuki for a hot-blooded song! Poor Aiko. Fumika's voice is going to catch me off-guard, I just know it.

I have no qualms with the rankings this year and eagerly await the CD announcements.

According to the website and several online articles, the game is currently down and shall continue to be until summer. It's rather depressing, especially since Ken is mostly to blame.
Ken did nothing wrong.
I can't wait for the cards and songs!
Ryotarou Okiyau, Daisuke Kishio, Nobuyuki Hiyama may voice the characters! Somebody, stop my crazy imagination!!!
The only problem with those VAs getting involved in SM is that they're pretty old. I have a strong feeling people are going to want the male idols around for a good while, so Namco will most likely look for up-and-coming male VAs, with female VAs for Arisu's brother and the other shotas.
