Title: THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Viewing Revolution
Post by: Teddie on July 07, 2016, 05:24:55 pm
Namco Bandai announced a new THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mskYTgaMAkc
The game will be released on Playstation VR on 13.10.2016!
The game is virtual reality. You are on concert and idols are singing on stage!

So, it's like Persona 4 Dancing All Night, except you're the shadows. ^_^;;

As long as I get to see them summon a 765Pro idol shredding on an electric guitar, I'm game.

Those faceless crowds are David Lynch as hell, man :P

Eh, kinda dismayed at the rather average image quality shown in the demo (where dat dynamic pen light lighting at, though that might be a forward rendering trade off.) It doesn't seem to be much more than a tech demo for PSVR, and not a particularly impressive one to boot if you're not already an CG fan so there's not really much else to say.

Wouldn't be surprised if they use this as a stepping stone for more VR goodies in whatever comes after PStars.

New PV video for the game~

New song is 'Yes! Party Time!!'

And CERO rating is comfirmed: it is CERO A (1st standalone iM@S game rated for all ages, but first iM@S related game rated CERO A is Taiko No Tatsujin collab 'THE iDOLM@STER: Must Songs')

I want this on DereSute.

Image and render resolution seems meh. I don't think they only prepared CG for this tho. Bamco might be keeping PStars VR for TGS 2016.

The game is released yesterday!

Here's a new song and some of it's gameplay!

For now, there are 3 songs: 'Yes! Party Time!!', 'Onegai! Cinderella' and 'Star!!'

Did I say that I want 'Yes! Party Time!! on DereSute? It's amazing.

wow the stupidest game for english speaking audiences

don't get me wrong, I like the concept of viewing revo but wouldn't it be better to get starlight stage outside of japan? I mean, it is a game where you can do more than just swing your penlight...

It's a start I suppose. Though not the first iDOLM@STER game I would choose to get an English release.

Well, it isn't the first imas game to be released in english: There was a shiny festa port available on the iPhone for a while. But they bombed it: 1) it cost more than the PSP version of the game and 2) it never left the iPhone

That's quite nice, but what's with the other iM@S games? I mean we've got Shiny Festa which was ridiculously expensive and later got removed from the App Store. While Platinum Stars grown on me, I still want it to be in English.

Again, excited for our actual FIRST ENGLISH game on the Cinderella Girls franchise, and the 2nd English translated game

also where's the English Deresute? I don't need to be like SIF EN/WW server with it's missings of events, but like how they implemented the Korean language.

An unfortunate choice to select to choose for translating to English but it's low risk so I can see why they would choose that to be translated.

I will just wait for Platinum Stars.
