Title: The "Yuki Kajiura and her projects" discussion topic
Post by: liza94 on August 22, 2014, 02:58:46 pm
Yuki Kajiura's music (both soundtracks and songs) has something in it that I cannot put into words. For some reason I prefer Kalafina over her projects. What about you?

I'm only familiar with the music she composed for Xenosaga II and III. Her work is some of the best music I've heard in a video game. :)

Yuki Kajiura is a genius. She can turn an ordinary old song from the mecha anime (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkC37DylchQ) into a real masterpiece (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpquFf5VjZ0)!
P. S. : FictionJunctionKAORI is awesome~! ^-^

Earlier this week I bought five tracks from Seventh Heaven and I'm liking them more the more that I listen to them! One quibble, though: the tone and phrasing of the vocals needs to be a little more varied (this is just my opinion, of course). Anyway, thanks for piquing my interest in Kalafina, liza!

I have:
Doesn't the background of the song Seventh Heaven sound like waves at the seashore?

I have:
  • Love Come Down
  • Fairytale
  • Mata Kaze Ga Tsuyokunatta
  • Ashita No Keshiki
  • Seventh Heaven
Doesn't the background of the song Seventh Heaven sound like waves at the seashore?

I've listened to love come down, Fairytale, obvious and Ongaku.
And here is a Kalafina's version of Anna ni issho ni datta no ni:

Out of those three, this is my favorite. It's actually "oblivious," not "obvious." ;) But they do kinda sound like they're saying "obvious." ???
