So yeah, this is another rant about the world

As I created THE iDOLM@STER MOBILE 2, I was pretty sure that this one piece of hard work is unique, in that it simulates Xross Media Bar faithfully. I can't say it simulates it perfectly, but I thought that I was the FIRST to do that in this whole BlackBerry theme business

I was pretty sure it would be a selling point. There was a theme that tries to simulate XMB (called PSB, by Hedone Designs) but it doesn't simulate anything for jack. For one, it doesn't move, so that's a bummer already

So, I was very surprised when I saw one theme that DID EXACTLY WHAT I DID, that is, simulating XMB

The theme was named PSHB, guess what? Made by Hedone Designs

Now, I checked at their website and they've released theirs at 27/2/2011, 5 days after I announced my work (at which point I haven't even designed the dock yet), but it still is really a shock.

I mean, now my work can no longer be called "original". No matter what happens, they've already done it first. People will say I just copied them, or just following the trend, although I worked on it without knowing about their theme

Reminds me of when I used to make Osu! beatmaps and beat everyone to the punch in making the K-ON!! OP. And then everyone flocked to this other dude's beatmap....

....I mean, granted, it was way better, but still.

Tch. I hate Osu! now.

well crap that sucks man. But on the bright side now you don't have to pay that ridiculous fee for your theme. Now if your really pissed off I'd suggest tipping of Namco and say someones stealing their characters and making a profit. Weather that's true or not is another story

Doesn't have anything to do with blatant rip-off of the whole iM@S idea Sev, just the layout and the way the theme itself works.
