Exactly What It Says on the Tin.

So I mentioned this in General Thoughts, and at least one person showed a smidgeon of interest. Even if it's just for that one person's sake, I will now be using this thread to post my really bad fanfiction audiobooks.

For the purpose of this first episode, I wrote up a script because sometimes I screw up my words or talk too fast or mutter so much you can't understand what I'm saying. If you guys think doing so is unnecessary or you have a different format in mind to make it easier for me to do while still helping you understand what's going on, let me know!

Since I've only finished the script for the first episode (and it literally took me all day), I'll post Episode One for now and let you guys leave thoughts of this mess.

A quick bit of background, copy-pasted from General Thoughts:

The universe was actually invented by a friend of mine and I who have this long-running roleplay that started over 5 years ago. It's now titled "Shadows Vs. Veros", but back then it was "Shadows Vs. Ryos", because my friend literally just picked a random Japanese word that sounded cool and stuck it there. And all of us pronounced it wrong too, as part of the fun.
It's basically about two warring sides. The Shadows are quite literally aliens that came from earth and now possess people to turn them into other Shadows. Most Shadows have powers that are then passed on to whoever they possess. The Veros are the good guys. They also have powers, though other people without powers often ally with the Veros to support them in other ways.
That's all the essential information to have a background to the (really bad) fanfictions, but it's a lot more complex than that in its entirety.
I wrote these using a lot of characters that didn't belong to me, with permission from their owners. A lot of MY characters didn't exist back then, so those guys voiced everyone who didn't belong to me.

A bit of extra background information to help some of these jokes make sense:
The character Manky was originally one of Heather's three brothers. However, he was replaced very soon after these were finished being written by Notar, who's a total nerd and the love interest of Makoto. :U
((who I totally didn't steal from iDOLM@STER btw hahahaha))
((OK so I actually did at first but then she became so wildly morphed out of character that she has a new last name now and is practically my own character))
((I'm violating so many copyrights but it's not like these will ever go anywhere beyond here so))

Appaele is totally obsessed with Rolf and fluctuates between being a rabid fangirl and being a total tsundere. She brings it up once or twice here.
Pretty sure everything else is explained there.

Except maybe Kaiden being the son of Melissa and Aiden, both of which are now officially dead in canon but I love them so much I keep bringing them back to life.

Without further ado, here: part one of this six-part Shadows Vs. "Ryos" fanfiction I wrote back when I was like ten.

And the script:
Regarding the script:
I copy-pasted the story itself into everyone's dialogue. If something looks oddly written or is spelled strangely, it's because I was ten and I only fixed stuff if the character themselves fixed it.
All characters are voiced by me except Kelly, who is my sister Kelly and is not a character at all.
now praise me as the greatest voice actor in history

General chatter / Karaoke Time!
« on: April 10, 2015, 01:30:18 am »
I asked about making this in the General Thoughts thread, and it looked like enough of you were interested to warrant its creation.
So without further ado, I present the Karaoke Thread!

~*[General Thread Guidelines]*~
1. Professional and non-professional covers are welcome. To elaborate, if you have a program like Audacity and a professional-grade microphone with which to record, go for it! If you have a crappy microphone and a program that just lets you record background music really muted in the background, go for it! I'm with you guys. :P
2. A cappella covers are also totally welcome. Go for it.
3. As far as song content, I would suggest referring to forum rules. However, as far as I'm personally concerned, since it's a song and it's not like it's your words, if there's a song you really like that happens to curse a few times and happens to involve sex (because let's be honest, what popular English song nowadays ISN'T about sex?), I won't mind.
4. Songs don't have to be iDOLM@STER related.
5. You can sing in any language. Sing in Swahili or Russian or Welsh or Korean or English or whatever your heart desires.
6. You can use instrumental tracks.
7. A website I can recommend to those of you who just want to sing a cappella is, which is a voice recording site. Take warning, though: links to your uploads on this site DO expire after a time and WILL erase your work, so if you plan to keep this thing forever, I suggest using something more reliable. It is great for something you just want to do really quickly, though.

I might update that list as I remember stuff or people make suggestions.

~*[Personal Guidelines That Apply Only To Me That Are Mildly Important To Your Understanding Of Stuff I Do]*~
1. Covers tagged [iPad] were recorded on my iPad using a program that lets me record instrumental tracks in the background JUST loud enough for it to actually make sense.
2. Covers tagged [A Cappella] were recorded without instrumentals using a fancy microphone.
3. Covers tagged [Professional] were recorded using a fancy microphone AND Audacity.
3.5. I don't actually own a fancy microphone yet so I won't actually be recording anything tagged [A Cappella] or [Professional] yet.
4. If a song is tagged with a name ([Marsha], [Haru], etc.), that song is sung in the voices of one of my characters because I sing in character voices a lot. If a song is not tagged with any name, I sang it in my natural voice.

Everything else is unimportant/up to you. :U
Go wild and have fun, guys!
I'll be adding something myself eventually :U

I promised I would start this topic a while back and finally got around to scanning up a bunch of my old arts and some new good ones.

So! I bring to you the "Art: Then and Now" topic!

Basically a place people can unashamedly show off their art from back when they sucked eggs, and from now when you dazzle the heavens with the strength of your talents. No place for shame in here! Give us the worst you've got, and the best you've got, because modesty has no place here either!

Arts do not have to be iDOLM@STER related because I didn't even know iM@S was a thing when I sucked this bad and I never draw iM@S fanarts anymore so all my best ones are OCs lol, but if they are, that's OK too! All kinda of fanarts and OC drawings are welcome. You can present them in whatever order you like, and as many images as you want, though it might be nice to either include links to outside sources if you want a lot of pictures in the same post, or to post them separately.

To kick things off, I'll get started. I really want to do at least two or three bad ones (and oh hey, I guess I have a few really good ones too), so I'll just show you the first two and post some more after others have had a chance. Because I always wildly spam threads I open before anyone else even has a chance to participate.

First, the bad:

...OK, what the heck even IS this?
Like, those noodle arms, and the body shapes, and the anatomy, and the HAIR, and the CLOTHEEESSSSS...

Now, some good.
This is not my best, I'm personally saving my super-duper-OMGHOWDIDIEVENDOTHIS drawing for a little later.

But hey, take some OC concept art.

Let's be honest, I chose this one so you can see how differently I draw elves now.
Holy geez.
Her anatomy makes sense.
And there aren't all these random lines all over.
And her clothes don't suck.
I'm sorry.

Also just so I can kinda clear this up briefly.
This characer has ice powers.
That hand in the lower left corner is kinda shooting out little ice needles.
Those aren't detached fingernails or whatever you could think they were.

So hey, your turn, guys! what are your best and worst drawings? Feel free to spread things out into multiple post, image dump thirty pictures in one post at me, go wild!

Community works / Grace's Translyrics Thread
« on: July 05, 2014, 08:22:24 pm »
Inspired by Virgo's. Her lyrics are really good.

Well. I'm still a noob at this, but I've gathered up a good amount now (five finished ones) so I'm gonna start posting them for review. And by "start", I mean, "I'm going to show you all of them right now."

Feedback is appreciated! Especially on some songs. I'll keep my notes up so you can see where I think I need help. Even if I don't have a note at a certain spot but you think you have an idea, let me know!

Word of warning, I tend to be a bit literal with these things, but not REALLY literal. Like, I want it to mean the same thing, but I'll fix things if need be. And most of the time it rhymes. YAY~
Another word of warning...none of these are iDOLM@STER so far. .-.
If that is a problem, please, by all means, move this thread to General Chatter. That is totally fine.

Let's get started then, in the order I finished these in. Starting with Luka Megurine's "The Tailor Shop at Enbizaka"!
Fun Fact: I'm only the second person ever to have posted translyrics of this song on the internet.

On Enbizaka there sits a little tailor store
Owned by a young woman whom many do adore
Her skills are unmatched and her attitude is good
She is the talk of the whole neighborhood

The most worrysome thing on her mind as of late
Is the unfaithfulness of her beloved mate
“Even though I adore that man with all my soul,
“For whatever reason, he just won't come home...”

But that musn't bother me; I have to keep on working
Holding my scissors just tightly enough
They were handed down to me by my dear late mother
The more you sharpen them, the better they cut.

The neighborhood is very peaceful right now
This is such a serene and pleasant little town
I spotted my loved one standing at main street
He was with a woman; exactly who is she?

Her red kimono is a pretty little thing
The loving way he looks at her is so sickening
Even though I love him, he still spends time with her
I can't stand stand the sight, so I return to my work

But that musn't bother me; I have to keep on working
Holding my scissors in one hand tightly
Tears pouring down my face, I slowly get to sewing
The deep red kimono sitting in front of me

Today the people are quite strange and on-edge
Seems that a crime was recently committed
My beloved was sitting down by the bridge
With another woman; exactly who is this?

I would have consoled him if that girl weren't there
He seemed quite content with that girl with pretty hair
That green sash she wears is perfect, don't you agree?
Is this the type of girl with whom you want to be?

But that musn't bother me; I have to keep on working
Holding my scissors in one hand tightly
Though my eyes are red and swollen from all of my crying
I get to work on the sash in front of me

Today the whole neighborhood is very upset
Seems another crime was recently committed
Outside the hairpin shop, I found my dear man
The girl that stood beside him was holding his hand

I watched him buy her an ornate yellow hairpin
Surely her being so young must be a sin
What on earth was going through your shameless mind?
You have no decency, isn't that right?

But that musn't bother me; I have to keep on working
Holding my scissors in one hand tightly
On my mother's scissors, a strange hue is now showing
Despite this, I'll work hard at my work again today

I have finally finished work
And if you will still not return
You have left me no choice; there is something I must do
I just have to go out, and go to see you

A blood-red kimono
A green sash that I wear
An elegant yellow hairpin, I'll put it in my hair
I've become the type of woman that you love
Well, what do you think of me? Aren't I pretty?

Today the whole neighborhood is in quite a stir
It seems that this time a man was murdered
He was in a family, four of them in all
All of them were slaughtered, isn't that dreadful!

Enough of that, the way he spoke was so cruel
“Hello, nice to meet you,” does he think I'm a fool?
It was like he spoke to someone he never knew...
It was like he spoke to someone he never knew!

But that musn't bother me; I have to keep on working
Holding my scissors just tightly enough
My beloved scissors are now dyed crimson red
The more you sharpen them, the better they cut

General chatter / Osu!
« on: April 23, 2014, 12:36:45 am »
I can't do it anymore. I must talk about Osu! with people!

And so, this is born. Osu! can be downloaded here. It's a blast to play.

Basically, Osu! is a free-to-play download rhythm game available for laptops and desktop computers, and possibly for tablets as well but I'm not sure. It comes in four modes: Osu!, where you use your mouse or finger pad to click little colorful circles to the beat of the music; Osu!mania, where you tap the keys of your keyboard to the beat of the music (I'm a freakin' BAWSS at this mode >=D); taiko, where you tap keys of your keyboard or click left/right button in accordance to a blue or red circle to the beat of the music; and Catch the Beat!, a relatively easy (at least to me) mode where you use your arrow keys to guide a little person with a basket around to catch fruits that fall to the beat of the music.

Everybody likes something different, but there's something for everyone! I personally adore Osu!mania, am decent at Osu!, and cannot play taiko for the LIFE OF ME.

So, does anyone else here play it? What mode do you use most often? What kinds of beatmaps (basically songs/levels, to those unfamiliar with Osu!lingo) do you tend to go after? Do you usually stick to the easier difficulties or do you like to branch out?

General chatter / Attack on Titan Tribute Game
« on: April 01, 2014, 04:39:45 pm »
I don't know if any of you have ever heard of the Attack on Titan Tribute Game, but it's this really hard, really fun little game based off of the popular anime/manga series Attack on Titan. I'm sure many of you have heard of it, at the very least.

It's really hard, but incredibly fun. So far, I've only been able to kill Titans successfully once, and I was cheating since I was Titan Eren. Oh well.
The controls can be a bit hard to figure out, but the guy who made the game really thought of everything. The range of playable characters is nice too: Eren, Petra, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Sasha, Marco, and Jean. I might be forgetting someone, but I don't think so.

What about you guys? Do any of you play the game? Have you actually managed to win (without cheating)?

(P.S. Did any of you notice I learned to do that "words that are actually links" thing? Yeaaah. I'm pretty proud.)

General chatter / I'm looking for a video.
« on: February 22, 2014, 04:19:48 am »
I don't even care how many boards I make. This is killing me.

About...two years ago, I think, maybe a little more, even, I found this video on YouTube of some of the iDOLM@STER voice actresses just...talking about their characters, I think. They were in this room, and they had a poster where they'd pick it up and point out their character and then talk about what it was like to voice that character. I assume so, it was entirely in Japanese with no subs. The voice actresses was Yurika Ochiai (I'm pretty sure she was still Yukiho at the time), Asami Imai, Chiaki Takahashi, Hiromi Hirata, and...Producer's voice actor was there too, and I think that's it. I can't remember if there were any others, but I know those five were there for sure.
I remember it took place in this room with couches against the back, and the voice actress that wasn't talking at the time sat there. And there was this little sound-recording device they had to set up before talking...? I remember Asami and Chiaki got into a little scuffle over it at one point.

I have searched high an low for this video and have never been able to find it again. I don't even remember what it was called, but I remember distinctly what happened. I want to see it again to see if I can pick out any more of what they're saying since my knowledge of Japanese has gotten ever-so-slightly better.

But yeah! It's killing me that I can't find it. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about or even if it was taken of YouTube, I would be so grateful.

I'm really bad at explaining things. So, um...yeah. I think the title was in kanji, if that helps at all. But I'm not positive.

Community works / Grace's Fanarts~
« on: February 19, 2014, 09:00:25 pm »
Ahaha...yeah. It's me again. I make way too many threads of my own~, but I'm officially a member now, so I think it's OK. I think., um, I do iM@S fanarts sometimes. I had a specific request from someone who wanted to see fanarts I've done of the iM@S girls from my fanfic Namuko Academy. It's a magic AU where all the girls control an element. The Xenoglossia characters are involved too, as the major villains known as "witches" (or "warlocks" for the men, because men just can't be called "witches" and there are a couple of them in Xenoglossia). I drew the mages (and greater witches), and since I was asked to reveal them to the world,, they'll be my first batch. If you're curious and would like to read the fanfiction itself, here's a link:
It also has an unfinished sequel in the works:
It's not my best work, and the Xenoglossia characters got OOC beyond repair almost every time they showed up, despite my best efforts. But it's AU, so that's my excuse.
Of course, don't have to. Like, it's just...if you feel like it, go ahead.

As you can tell, I'm very nervous~.

But! I'll get started on that, by element, next post. Once that's finished, I drew a MakoRyo fanart that I'm very fond of, so once that's inked, colored, and scanned, it will be posted here. It WILL. Because I'm a MakoRyo fangirl. I WANT THEM TO BE CANON SO BAD BUT IT CAN'T BECAUSE THEY'LL GET FIRED OR SOMETHING. *wails and flops around on the couch*

Also! I got the sudden and strange urge to draw Makoto cosplaying as Imca from Valkyria Chronicles III when I first saw Imca playing Project X Zone (it's true, I've never actually played Valkyria Chronicles III though I've heard of the franchise and plan to at least watch the OVAs). So. It's a weird idea, but it'll one day be completed and posted.

So! Without further ado, um...Nervous Grace's Namuko Academy Fanarts~! Enjoy, Liza! ;D

Well, everyone seems to be posting project ideas (I'm looking at you, ninjamitsuki and ZetaFlare), and, well...I have this idea. And I kinda wanna get feedback on it.

It will definitely be a fan-fiction because writing is the only thing I can do right featuring a cast of OCs I've invented throughout the years. The original idols and 876 Pro/the Jupiter boys will also play a few prominent roles.

So here's the thing: I've spent a good two years collecting up characters I've invented to be a whole OC cast of iDOLM@STER and assembled my top 20 favorites to form the "All-Stars" of my collection of characters. I want to write about the girls (and one boy) just kinda...going through their idol lives and trying to get to top idol. I want it to be written kinda like the SP games since that's the kind I'm most familiar with; you get to choose a character, follow them through lessons and communications, and all that. This is where the problem arises.

20 characters. Communications. One book. You can see how this would get really long. Not to mention I want to make a story out of it, with the 765 girls getting involved as rivals, friends, role models, etc. But I want to focus on one girl (or boy) at a time.

So I'm wondering. Should I maybe post, like, just a quick layout of profiles of the characters and let everyone pick a few favorites, and just focus on them, and ignore the others? Or just write everything out for all of the girls in no particular order and just let people skip to the ones that focus on their favorites? Or maybe even just post it all in twenty separate books and update them as I get ideas? I can probably definitely narrow it down to just twelve (or less) OCs too, so it's closer to the original cast and easier to write. But I'm gonna be honest, I'm a fan of these characters...I feel like they're original, and I want to write about them as though they are in the game, but also add in their own personal stories like the original girls had (like how Miki had her Awakened Miki route, I remember reading somewhere that Azusa and, I think, Takane got to confess to the Producer, Producer himself goes to America at the end of iM@S 2...).

I also plan on writing out multiple different endings per communication/lesson based on what the reader would say or how the idol would do in lessons.

Basically, I'm writing iDOLM@STER: The Fan-Fiction (With OCs).

So, um...yeah. I know I'm still new and I'm quite the amateur when it comes to iDOLM@STER and to writing, but I'm willing to give this a try, and I'd really appreciate any advice you could give me! :D Thanks. :)

General chatter / Seiyuu thread!
« on: January 23, 2014, 04:36:38 am »
So no one else started a seiyuu thread! And who better to do that than me, little miss Newbie with 7,000 favorite seiyuus I could rant for hours about? As a warning, this opening post WILL be long, because I love me some seiyuu ranting.

Applies to English and Japanese voice actors. Who are your favorites? What are some roles you liked them in? When did you first realize how gorgeous their voice was, and how desperately you wanted to befriend them just so you could hear them talk to you?

As for me, my favorite English voice actors are Vic Mignogna and Todd Haberkorn. I tend to think Japanese voice actors are better than English ones, but I really like these two. Especially Vic Mignogna. I actually worked up the courage to email him once and he responded to me. Like, we went back and forth a bit. It was awesome.

Japanese voice actors...there's a lot.
Female: Eri Kitamura at the top of the list, followed by Hiromi Hirata, Yuu Kobayashi, Yui Horie, Yukari Tamura, Chiwa Saito, and Yuka Iguchi.
Male: Miyu Irino and Akira Ishida are tied for the top spot, followed by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Hiro Shimono. Oh yeah, and Yuki Kaji.

My favorite roles by these voice actors are as follows:
Vic Mignogna--Gotta say Fai from Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles.
Todd Haberorn--Death the Kid.
Eri Kitamura--MAKOTO~ *impaled* Seriously though, I can't even pick a favorite. Everything she does is PERFECT.
Hiromi Hirata: Honestly, I love her as Alme Noten in The Book of Bantorra. And Makoto. And Maggie from R.O.D was perfect too.
Yuu Kobayashi--Katsuragi from Senran Kagura takes the cake.
Yui Horie--Gonna go with Yukiho.
Yukari Tamura--Fear from C3.
Chiwa Saito--Again, everything she does is magnificent, but I love her as Anita from R.O.D.
Yuka Iguchi--Sovereignty from C3. There is no hesitation. Sovereignty was the best role I've ever heard her in.
Miyu Irino--Either Tomoharu from Asura Cryin', or Colio Tonies from Book of Bantorra.
Akira Ishida--OH GOSH EVERYTHING HE DOES IS PERFECT. His voice sends shivers down my spine, I'm not even kidding. It's gorgeous. So gorgeous, in fact, that he voices a woman. No joke. Julia in ICE. Seriously though, I adore him as Karasu in Xenoglossia. That was the role that first made me fall in love with him like him as a seiyuu.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka--FREAKING KIRITO IS ALSO SHOUTA. HOW DOES HE DO IT. I love him as Kirito, though.
Yuki Kaji--Eren. Eren is his best role. Eren will always be his best role. I'm kidding.

What about you all? Feel free to go on an on about your favorites like I did. Are there any shows out there with my voice acting babies in them that I haven't seen that you think I should? Are you looking for shows by your favorites that I or others might have seen?

Community works / Grace's Magical Board of Fanfics~ :3
« on: January 14, 2014, 06:56:32 pm »
Well! I saw one or two fan-fic boards here and decided, hey, I write fanfics! Like, dozens of them! Why not? And since this is the community works board anyways...

Like, literally, I have at least 19 decent fanfics of iM@S on my account at And I LOVE writing fanfics. I also LOVE getting reviews. Hint hint. So. I'll just post a quick summary, chapter count, genre and link to the ones I think are worth your time. It's also VERY likely I'll include some personal thoughts on the stories. Because for some reason, I like sharing personal thoughts. If you *happen* to visit my profile and think one I didn't post here looks interesting, by all means, read it.

No one likes me on that site anymore so I'm starting to get desperate. Haha. Just kidding. I still have faithful viewers who I think are amazing.

Name: The Mansion at the Floor
Chapter count: 19, plus a prologue and an epilogue. Completed.
Genre: Horror. Don't ask me how I thought of this.
Probably cruddy Summary: They shouldn't have been there. No one ever should have been there. But they wouldn't listen to those growing feelings of fear, and now... The idols accept a challenge from Jupiter to visit a haunted mansion. If they can survive one week and make it out alive, they will have proven themselves, but... The idols will not make it out of this one without a miracle. And they know it.
Personal Thoughts: Yeah, there will DEFINITELY be personal thoughts. Anyways. I started this a long time ago because I was feeling sadistic and wanted to kill people. Don't ask. But I dropped it for a long time, and picked it up again around chapter 12. By that time, my writing had improved, I think, but the consequence was that I had, by that time, been writing as the iDOLM@STER characters for so long that they began to feel like my own characters, and I didn't put as much thought into keeping them in-character. Actually, I think they got out-of-character a LOT. So, I'm sorry.

Name: Shangri-La
Chapter Count: 6. In progress.
Genre: Paranormal, alternate universe.
Summary: A mysterious OC boy gifts the idols with a necklace which he claims will grant their wishes. And of course, that sounds awesome, right? But as time goes on, the idols realize that these wishes of theirs hold too many consequences to be worth it, and it's up to them and their new OC friend to save their own lives.
Personal Thoughts: I have no idea how I thought of any of this. I just got this idea. And I thought to myself, "No one has done this before. I think it's a kinda cool idea. It'll be fun, right? I've worked with idols around OCs before! I AM AN AUTHOR! I CAN DO THIS!" So It was posted. Honestly, it's one of my personal favorites. For the most part, the idols managed to stay in-character, I think. Probably because Xenoglossia characters aren't involved. Anyways. My favorite kinds of fanfics are all AU, what is wrong with me...?

Name: Drabbleworks! Don't ask me why I called it this, because I have no idea.
Chapter Count: 17. In progress.
Genre: Humor. And Random.
Summary: Just a random collection of iM@S-themed oneshots I wrote because I could. Some of them are requests from others, others are my original ideas. Warning: My brain makes NO SENSE.
Personal Thoughts: Seriously, don't ask me about the name, like, these aren't even drabbles, and they certainly don't work. It just came to me. And so, why not? But this is a story that has no affiliation to any other story, and isn't even really a story. It's just a collection of oneshots. Whenever I get a new idea or request, it gets updated. Also, it's REALLY random.
And, actually, a few chapters were based off of one of my other books.

Name: The Idols of Iron Fist
Chapter Count: 19. Completed.
Genre: Drama
Summary: What happens to the idols of 765 Pro when Makoto makes an announcement that could shatter their lives forever? A crossover between Tekken and The iDOLM@STER. The idols participate in The King of Iron Fist Tournament, but little do they know that a new rule has been introduced that will shake them to the core. Will they survive? Probably not, know, they'll try.
Personal Thoughts: Before you ask, I don't know. This book was another one I worked on while I felt like killing people. Like, I just...felt like it! BUT IT TURNED OUT SO ANGSTY. LIKE, EVERYONE DIES. WHY. Nonetheless, I think it was decently well-written if not horribly out-of-character in the later chapters. Also it's depressing and violent. But I'm still pretty satisfied.

Name: Princess Stories-iDOLM@STER Style
Chapter Count: 9. In progress. Veeeeery sloooooow progress.
Genre: Parody, Humor
Summary: The idols get called together to act out their favorite princess-themed fairytales. Everything that can go wrong does, and it turns out, none of the idols are capable of acting on the same set as Jupiter.
Personal Thoughts: I honestly think this one is one of my best as far as in-character...ness...goes. But it was written ages ago and hasn't been continued in a really long time. So it's kinda bad. Also there are only nine chapters. But what the heck, this list needed more happy!

Weell. That's all I'm gonna do for now, feel free to take a look if you want! I should probably let you see some more happy-go-lucky fics, but honestly, you guys, I don't even WRITE happy-go-lucky anymore. I know, iM@S is a really happy game with happy characters, but whenever my mind gives me ideas, I just...go with them. And they're always depressing for some reason. I think it's a sign that I'm depressed. No, just kidding. Don't worry about me. :3
But yeah!
I'd be really happy if any of you felt like taking a look. :3 I might come back here and chuck some more links at you later, or when I actually updated my happy stories come up with a new idea. :3
In the meantime, you guys are cool. iM@S is cool. iM@S fans are cool. I'm cool. No I'm not.
And that's about it.

I noticed that no one had put up a board for discussing Xenoglossia yet, so me, being both new and addicted to Xenoglossia a fan of Xenoglossia, I decided to try starting one.

I know lots of people were disappointed with it. I didn't watch it for the longest time after I knew it existed because it looked stupid, and the art was kinda weird, and so I just ignored it. But then, like, last year, I decided I'd give it a shot. And I fell in love.

Honestly, you guys, I stopped associating it with the original iDOLM@STER after episode 3 and just watched it like a completely unrelated anime. It helped.

That, and Eri Kitamura. I love her voice so much. <3

Hey there, people of the forums! Pleased to meet you. :D
It looks like there's something you're supposed to do when introducing yourself, so here I go!

Personal info:
Name: Call me Grace, but my real name is private. ;)
Sex: Female
Country of origin: USA
Age (upon joining): Somewhere between 13 and 18. Unfortunately, I'm not fully comfortable giving out my exact age.
Hobbies: Reading, playing iM@S, watching iM@S, watching other anime, playing other video games, reading manga (like the iM@S mangas), writing...oh yes, I love to write. And going online. :3

Q: How did you come across this site?
A: I looked up "idolm@ster" on Google and it showed up. Hey, more iM@S fans! Cool!

Q: Why did you join this site?
A: To join up with other fans. Actually, to be perfectly honest, it's because I heard this song Chihaya sang, and I can't find it anywhere, so I joined the site to ask if anyone here new what it was. XD

Q: Do you play iDOLM@STER?
A: I currently only have Perfect Sun for my PSP and I play it often, even though it frustrates me beyond belief. I'm saving up for the Shiny Festa apps, and I really want a PS3 so I can play One for All! when it comes out.

Q: Who is your fave idol?
A: MAKOTO. WITHOUT A DOUBT. I'M SORRY YOU GUYS BUT I JUST LOVE HER TO DEATH. <3 Miki and Hibiki are second and third.

Q: Why is your username "Amazing_Grace"?
A: Why NOT?

Q: What are you into right now?
A: Honestly, you guys, Idolmaster: Xenoglossia is at the top of my list. Like, I love it so much. I know everyone thinks it's stupid, but I can't help it! It made me laugh! It made me cry! It made me scream at my computer screen for hours without end! IT MADE ME WISH FOR A SEASON TWO. HONESTLY.
Aside from that, I love a lot of other obscure animes, and writing fanfics.

Q: What is your motto?
A: ...motto...?
I don't think I have a motto, actually. But if I did, it would be, "THIS IS A MOTTO!!"

Q: Who's your favorite singer(s) right now?
A: In order from favorite to least favorite, my top five: Nagi Yanagi, Hiromi Hirata (honestly you guys I love her voice so much), Eri Kitamura, Asami Imai, and Yui Horie.

Q: Do you have any expectations from this site?

Now! I'd love it if any of you wanted to ask me what the song was. I will gladly tell you everything I've learned about it. I really want to know what it is, I think it's a cover song but...I just don't know. ;-;
