Yeah, the Overmaster is so damn blatant with Insane Game. I'd like to think that wasn't intentional.

That being said, I don't mind Resistance nor Miracle Night, though that stems from a bias for "cool."

I'll hold out for dedicated MASTER solos; I echo the notion Yayoi doesn't fit in well, given the context.

It's definitely intentional. That interlude is literally just the beginning and end of Overmaster with a new short guitar part in between.

And on a related note, I'm so bitter Yukiho didn't get into the M@STER version of either 99 Nights or Miracle Night. She has some of the best solo versions of both.

Finally found rips for the full version songs of Platinum Master 02
Insane Game:
Bokutachi no resistance:
Insane Game really has that Overmaster vibe from it, I love it.

dat Insane Game Overmaster interlude from 2:59 to 3:43, I love it

But seriously, I think the main problem with the PS songs is that the M@STER versions aren't very good. I'm still on the fence about the weird effect on everyone's voices at the beginning of Miracle Night. All of their solos ingame were fantastic, but in the M@STER version their singing was worse. I'm not sure if it was their intention for everyone to sound like chipmunks during the chorus.

Also, the idol choices for each song are a bit weird. Bokutachi no Resistance would have been fantastic if not for the addition of Yayoi, who drags down the entire song because she's just so out of place.

Found a preview of the full Amaterasu dance here, I think this is from Tokyo Game Show?

I like it even more, although Takane's hair clipping was fairly distracting.

Outfit is fantastic! It's like a much improved version of iM@S 2's Full Bloom Yukata Dress. Song sounds pretty great.

Still, Kyun! Vampire Girl and Meisou Mind? I love both, but this game is still severely lacking in ballads.

If you put the whole thing together スターチャームリエス it translates as Star Charm Li es
It seemed to make better sense with the space put in  スターチャーム リエス - Star Charm Riesu

I don't know though. Google translate can be funny about stuff.

You have a typo. The name on the website is スターチャームアリエス, which is "Star Charm Aries".

iDOLM@STER One For All was very easy to follow for a non-Japanese reader. I don't know any Japanese, except for the girls names now after playing the game, and I was able to get through the entire game with just using the must minimal of guides.

iDOLM@STER 2 was a different story. I never got past week 12 before giving up. It was too conversation oriented. I literally had to go line by line on a guide and watch all the walkthroughs possible to get through every part of the game.

Getting the DLCs isn't necessary but it does make the gameplay easier. It also makes Stage4You more enjoyable.

For OFA I ended up spending about $1,600 for all of the DLC (minus the guest songs from the CG and ML girls).

I can only imagine what Platinum Stars is going to cost me.

As a side note is another request form like going to be made for Platinum Stars?

Oh hey, Hime!

I did mention to you what Setsuna said in the past, which was in this post:

Well, this is going to make things a hell lot more complicated.

As Cael mentioned previously lalabit (NBGI's store) is the only store that is offering in game content as its unique.

If you aren't previously aware with im@s: OfA, there were a couple of DLC items that were released exclusively, either as an event, or as a part of the LE.

Unfortunately here's the bad news:

The DLC items that are exclusive to the event (The Ami/Mami Lawson Puppets) have still not become available for purchase.

I can't confirm if the LE pack item (The costume) ever became available, but I don't think so.

So for those who want a compendium to happen or want a complete selection of DLC items for their own use, this would mean that you are forcibly gated into the lalabit version.

This brings up a few complications - They won't ship to any non Japanese address. You must escrow this unless you're physically in Japan, or you know of someone who is local and can be trusted to handle and forward everything.

In my case of course, I'm dealing with a sheer deficit as it stands (Economic damage due to disaster is like that) so I'm going to spell things out in plain English for anyone who's going to ask me the question I KNOW that's going to be asked.

Here's the answer (without needing to state the question):

"A Platinum Stars Compendium project will only be started IF I can get my hands on the lalabit limited edition version of the game."

Otherwise, I deal with out of bounds items, and accuracy is ultimately the point of the compendium (which is the main reason why it was used as a reference system).

As you can guess, I'm still working on replacing parts (and there's quite a few) for repairs, so for the time being, all my funds have been  focused towards the repair and replacement.

No, I don't own a PS4 at this point in time either, but at least that doesn't have a hard time limit placed on it. I can always work on acquiring the PS4 after the game is secure. Unfortunately, the reverse doesn't apply.

I'm thankful to you, Setsuna, for putting so much time and money into the iM@S 2 and OFA compendiums even though you very nearly quit over people who had the nerve to be rude and demanding. A Platinum Stars compendium would be nice, but I can totally understand if you decide not to do one this time.

And $1600...yikes. Hime, I don't think anyone would blame you if you waited for the DLC sales instead of buying them upfront. Especially if they do something like the EX episodes again.

Sorry to bother you once more, but the file for 99 Nights seems to have been corrupted (around the 1:00 to 1:20 minute mark). If it's not too much trouble, can you rerecord or reupload it when you have the time?

Thank you!

If you still have the files, can I get a download of them? The columbia America block is not new, but for some reason 99 Nights has been "blocked on copyright grounds" and it's impossible to view through any proxy site.

Hello again! May I request these without subtitles?

Kosmos, Cosmos (St-42) [Simple]
(Haruka Iori Takane)

99 Nights (St-02) [Simple]

The duo for 99 Nights has a glitch. If it's possible, can I have the camera focused on Yukiho for the duration of the lines "99 Nights Hello & Goodbye"? Auto camera for the rest is fine.

I like it! But I'm still worried about the absence of personalized costumes, especially since we've seen that first outfit with three different color palettes already. Getting rid of those just seems odd, especially with OFA's entire solo song and solo costume thing.

I don't know why, but I'm getting a bit of a Dream C Club vibe from that new Ohime-chin model.

Maybe it's because of the shading? Dream Club Gogo's character models were really well done (example), but Platinum Stars is looking like it'll give Gogo a run for its money.

I'm so excited! I hope songs that couldn't be in 2 or OFA (Aoi Tori...) will make it in.
