However, it WOULD be interesting to see how fans in-universe will take these decisions.
Also, in the classic 765 Idolm@ster we had Miki who took fairly active role in boosting her own career. If she were mismanaged by the 346 tops like that, she'd be jumping ship in a moment (proviso how watertight her contract is - we could imagine that 765 left that possibility open where the presumed legion of 346 lawers might not). Thus far we don't see anyone so spirited in the dejected crew. Not even Miku

I think CG and ML is slowly killing iMAS, (...)

Omo addressed the old codgers like that in his write-up of the 10th anniversary festivities:

"M@STER OF IDOL WORLD, with translation, means this. When they announced those words some months back, that was the idea. Cinderella Girls and Million Live are engineered after the pivot, to take the franchise forward using its younger and more manageable members, with the large casts. In a sense this has always been a point of tension. How will the fanbase accept CG/ML? And by fanbase I mean the different existing factions, and not even necessarily all of them. There’s still people who are “producers” who don’t DLC, for example, who are basically a lost cause in a way (but can still be engaged), or those who were hardcore 765Pro from their humble beginnings. I think in that sense it is the one greatest challenge IM@S 10th seeks to address."

how do i get it that?
You need a Japanese cellphone # for that. If you have it, just go into the "kantan-zenin" link and eventually it dumps you at Mobage where you enter the number. Then they send you a text message and then the magic happens (I'm not exactly clear on that, I'm unverified).

I'm not going to strain myself with region unlocking. It's the reason why I'm not playing LLSIF: I'm not interested in the English version and the Japanese version is too much trouble to unlock. VPN? Neighbour, please.

Juri Kimura is a good catch. Her work in Shirobako was top notch.

See, that's the advantage of being non-verified. I haven't bought a new WebMoney, and thus Mobocoin, ever since they closed the free trade to me a year ago.

Ru Thing. That's......certainly unique.
Ru Tihn would be not particularly unique for Viet.

Aww, that's unfortunate. I also got 4 pink medals (they look like drug tablets with a sign "Petit"), but then I blew them on some worthless item that looks like a baseball hat, because that was offered as "gacha". Who knew.

But yeah, thanks for explaining that, because I was REALLY confused about why they would name this unit after a dog.

Come on, aren't they adorable

BTW, you know about the Love Missile in L.O.B.M., right?

BTW, one thing that vaguely bugs me is the closet. I could never figure out why it happens. It was happening all the time when I passed available stages and collected costumes. Not so much nowadays at random encounters. I thought the closet landed when the system thought that we were mismatched -- basically to prevent going around beating weaklings for their lunch money, but the criteria were very unclear and basically it was unpredictable.

Oh I actually wonder something, did you ever managed to get Perfect when you used the Attack power (without the special charm for guaranteed perfect)?
Nope, not even once. Only got Perfect with items this time (they look like a cut-up fruit or cake). I seem to recall that there was a chance to get Perfect just regularly in previous similar events, so perhaps they retuned the dispersion.

Also I always wondered, what is the reward for defending  incoming battle? Do you like get lot of fans at least? Because it really seemed to me that Def is totally useless so I didn't put anything into it.

Oh, absolutely. For a minmaxing kind of player who cares about pure performance, Defence is useless, at least at higher levels. I rarely see anyone attacking at all these days. The last attack was on April 30th (and he lost). But when I started out, I always was low on money, because remember - no rewards. So I had something like 5,000 (FIVE THOUSAND) money in the bank and they were attacking all the time. Each attack was -800 or so. It was difficult balancing act of grinding all the time, using few drops to level, then selling the majority for money. You can imagine that being able to deflect some was satisfying.

Even under those circumstances I thought about a strategy of not defending at all and just focusing on attack. E.g. I wake up every day, see between 1000 and 2000 lost. Then I attack some weaklings and gain +1000 back per success. Seems like breaking even easily if I do not lose days. But it didn't seem like fun and you cannot leave things. So I chose to do it 50-50. Very likely not optimal, but whatever.

I have 157 Stamina and usally I run out of Attack first, of which I have 271. I use 80 per round to boost chances of Good communication.

Since we're on topic, I split Attack and Defence evenly, and my leader is Yukari R+. Sometimes people fall for it and attack. Not often though.

After reaching Layla I suddenly chose to heed Steve's strategy and started conserving the tradeable cans (I have 97 left). On the one hand, who knows if I need them. On the other hand, you can't take money into the grave. I may choose to stop playing and then all those riches get wasted.

And you can trade with people in production if you've been there for more than 14 days.
That sounds intriguing, but does not seem to work. If I go into someone's profile, and hit "トレード" or "贈り物", the attached happens. The items under "ホシイモノリスト" are not clickable at all.

But I think it would be worth letting newer people know how this exactly work, big red text saying "NEVER USE REGULAR STAM/ENERGY DRINKS" which lot of people didn't know (I myself wasted 5 that way).

You forgot to mention that it only matters for verified accounts. I have hundreds of those things and don't know what to do with them since the free trade was denied a year ago. When they opened awards/gifts to unverified, it made sense to participate in events, so I managed to deplete the stocks of My* drinks and started diffing into normal Stamina and Energy drinks. I also have piles of oddball cakes/candies/mushrooms that have varying effects on S&E.
