So, been playing Morrowind recently. Started half a year ago and dropped after a while (still, it was surprisingly long. I usually drop it after 2-3 hours - this time I played until the Ashlanders). Saw a popular streamer playing it, realized that I never uninstalled the game and returned to it.

So, after a few days of basically continuous playing I slayed Dargoth Ur and... I think I had enough.
Even though this (two-part) playthrough was the first time it kinda clicked with me and I actually had fun, in the later parts I was kinda glad it's nearing the end. Maybe I should have bumped the difficulty up because the combat became too boring and too trivial* (and contrary to the popular opinion about the game, I personally don't mind the dice roll based combat in itself)? Maybe I should have been more creative with spellmaking and enchanting? Dunno, but at the end of it, I didn't even really want to read the ingame books, which I enjoyed before (although now that I think of it, I should probably blame myself for that one, because after returning to the game, I was often playing it while doing something else - like having the already mentioned stream or Evo in the background - and it being deconcentrating even if I wasn't focusing on it).

Maybe I'll leave it on my HDD and come back after some time again, because in the end I never did any Great Houses quests and did most of other factions instead. I have no idea how good they actually are, but I feel kinda guilty for not touching that part of the game.

*Never played enough of the rest of the TES games to confirm, but I think I remember reading similar criticisms about the other games as well.

Fucking bullshit. Twitter has shut down PostGhost.

More at the link, including why this is important for an archive site to exist so deleted tweets can be verified rather than relying on mere screenshots. It also mentions that Twitter had no issue with Politwoops, a similar deleted tweets site for political tweets.

Since the thread was updated - if someone was interested in Clip Studio Paint, it's temporarily $20 on official website. Discount should last for a day and a few hours.

Didn't think the PSP could handle something wildly ambitious as Bethesda RPGs. :P Makes you wonder how that leak will turn out.

Well, it's not exactly a typical Elder Scrolls game - more like a hub-based dungeon crawler, but still. It actually also looks and runs pretty well for the platform, and probably before any really advanced optimization.
He also totally didn't stream it on Twitch until a few moments ago and if anyone wants to watch him play absolutely regular Oblivion, VODs should be up for a while (he's not partnered, so that would be a week?).

Footage of the cancelled Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion for PSP surfaces.

Wait, is this playable? Can it be obtained?

Stay tuned.

Odd, too, considering it was Doom that really popularized it in the first place.

And that today, over 20 years later the original game still has an alive modding community. And that the publisher has a few series in its portfolio that generate far more money later in the life thanks to modding. And that one of them is trying to bring PC mods to consoles in hope of finding the same long run profits there as well.

Missed the fact. Definitely not cool. Also since we're at it, I think they also mentioned there will be no mod tools (not even a geniuine map editor), so SnapMap building blocks are all we can look up to. :-/

So supposedly the new Doom turned out to be good. Regardless of terrible boxart, lack of pre-release footage and review codes, terrible multiplayer farmed out to the guys that had their hands in Halo and COD MP and generally no original talent still working in the studio.

Also, if someone wants to watch someone playing it actually well:
He finished for today (after over 12 hours!), but he'll play tomorrow and VODs should be there anyway. Keep in mind he plays on Ultra-Nightmare (which has permadeath), so you'll see the beginning a lot.

There's also an actual gameplay video (for Kiramekirari) from whatever stream. I don't think it was mentioned here:

It ends on a shot of Chihaya, but I don't see a video to continue from that moment. :-(

I'm doing this cosplay with a friend though and we'll be cutting out her part tonight.

As in two identical costumes, or just matching thematically?

A cheapo NATO strap for my terrorist Casio plus a thing to remove lug pins. Wish it had PVD coating (would probably be more expensive) and/or dark blue stripes to match the watch (I just couldn't find one that would be 18mm. In fact except for one that was 22mm and was originally bundled with another watch, I couldn't find any in that color scheme).

But yeah, I guess it does indeed feel more comfortable than the standard resin strap.
