Other iM@S games / The iDOLM@STER: Music Clips (PS VITA)
« on: November 18, 2015, 10:21:07 am »
Looks like we're getting a free Vita title to commemorate the launch of MUST SONGS.  I can't understand the whole source but it looks like it's a lite version of G4U and S4U for the Vita set to be released December 10.

General chatter / Everyday Carry
« on: June 23, 2014, 04:33:28 am »
I once found some neat blogs like this on everyday carry, or EDC (not Electronic Daisy Carnival) and thought it was interesting.  Everyday Carry refers to philosophy of preparedness, and refers to all of the tools and such that one would carry with them when they're headed out for the day, whether it be work, school, or any other sort of adventure life has to offer.

I wanna see people posting pictures their EDCs!  It's fun to see what sort of neat gadgets and tools everyone has.

  • LG Nexus 5
  • Anker 5600 mAh external battery
  • Keys with Leatherman micra multitool attached
  • Cheapass wallet from Macy's
  • Nuforce NE-700X earbuds

Uh.......  So we're going to get a mobage under the iDOLM@STER label about producing male idols.

Community works / Request for "WELL-BALANCED UNIT" icon vector
« on: April 21, 2013, 11:34:43 pm »
No I didn't put any thought into which section I should throw this in but this is a call for help here.

I am thinking of doing wildly silly things and I'm wondering if anyone happens to have a vector of the honeycombed "WELL-BALANCED UNIT" icon that appears on the load screen for iM@S 2, seen on the window of this itasha

If anyone happens to have a vector of this icon, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Other iM@S games / The iDOLM@STER: Million Live!
« on: February 04, 2013, 03:29:54 am »

Mobile social game from GREE.  Not sure what I'm supposed to think of this.  No Cinderella Girls stuff this time around, looks like it's using the primary 765 idols.  Information coming soon.

Game doesn't seem to be public yet so I can't do anything about it.  Can't read what's on the site because I'm illiterate.

Okay I think I've gathered my senses.  This is a collaboration between Namco Bandai and Sammy, a subsidiary of SEGA who specializes in pachinko and pachislot games.  Much to my disappointment, this is not a remaking of the original iDOLM@STER arcade game, but a PachiSlot game.  Kinda surprised they're not using 2ND VISION character designs, but I think really, this will be pretty negligible for most of us.  Otherwise, if you ever find yourself in a pachinko parlor in Japan, be on the lookout for this, as it will launch on May 23, 2012.

Community works / Post your instrument covers of iM@S music!
« on: May 05, 2012, 06:18:35 am »
I've been searching everywhere forever for iM@S guitar tabs with little success, though I did come across a gem and had to give it a good shot.

It's not perfect, but I wanted to try a fingerstyle arrangement of Yakusoku on my classical guitar.

Anyone else come across any iM@S sheet music and have performed any?  I'm really curious to see all the musical talent on the forums.

General chatter / General every day life photos
« on: March 24, 2012, 10:25:58 pm »
I always found these threads to be fun.  They somewhat give others the opportunity to learn small tidbits about your every day life, so post whatever you ever take with your camera here (that isn't horrible, disgusting, or tasteless, of course).  They can be pet photos (especially if you have any adorable cats :3 ), photos of things around your home town, photos of your room, photos of the absurd amount of figures you just bought from amiami, things like that.

Guess I'll start

Just got my car washed.  It's lookin' gooood~

Well, I'm rather unoriginal, so I might as well use the copy & paste form.

Personal Info:

Real Name: Kevin
Sex: Male
Country of Origin: United States of America (Texas, specifically)
Age (upon joining): 16
Hobbies: Games (EVE Online and other things, mostly), anime, shooting firearms, JROTC, and having great friends.

Q: How did you come across this site?
A: I honestly can't remember.  Most likely came up when I Googled iDOLM@STER.

Q: Why did you join this site?
A: Considering it's related to The iDOLM@STER, I joined because it's obviously full of people who like the franchise, just like me.

Q: Do you play it?
A: I play the PSP versions (to be specific, Perfect Sun and Missing Moon)

Q: Do you wish you could play it? (Ignore this part if above answer is "Yes")
A: In regards to the Xbox 360 versions, definitely.  I'm desperately trying to get the money to get an Xbox 360 for the sake of iM@S and DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu.

Q: Who is your fave idol?
A: Makoto Kikuchi.  I'm honestly not sure why.

Q: Why is your username "SakuraMaxX"?
A: Anyone who plays a lot of Bemani games would probably recognize this name.  Back in my days of playing Dance Dance Revolution, I came up with the name from the Beatmania IIDX song, "Sakura", and the DDR song, "MaxX Unlimited".

Q: What are you in to right now?
A: MMOs have always been interesting to me, so I've been playing a lot of EVE Online.  I've recently become interested in shooters (SHMUPs, if you will), such as DoDonPachi.  Don't even think about talking to me about Touhou Project or I'll probably rage at you.  As a high school student, I am in the Navy Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps., and I have been taking a bit of interest in military related subjects.

Q: What is your motto?
A: "In regards to..."

Q: Who's your favorite singer(s) right now?
A: Not really able to answer this one easily, since I usually don't even keep track of the names of singers.  In regards to musical composers, I'd say Zektbach (Tomosue Funaki)

Q: What are you up to right now?
A: Procrastinating on homework, most likely/

Q: Do you have any expectations from this site?
A: I don't like to hold expectations too high for something I just found out about.  I'll just say I expect to meet people with common interests I wouldn't have expected.

=== Other Stuff ===

Not really much else to say, I don't think.  I usually go by other monikers with "Azure" in them, but it seems there are too many people with that in their names nowadays.

Might as well drop these here:
