Goddamn album arts!

<< < (3/3)

Yunabeco:
Yeah, depends on whether your device chooses to:
1. Look for a folder.jpg/cover.jpg in the directory and keep it for all songs in said directory (easiest, but least accurate)
2. Look for the album art in the ID3/APE tag of the first loaded file and keep it
3. Load the album art from each file (most accurate, but also a bit performance-hungry)

The iPod and my Cowon all do 3. and revert to 1. if the file tag doesn't contain art (or show nothing if there is no folder/cover.jpg). In contrast, my HTC spectacularly fails on loading individual album art. :(

But I truly already did Scotty :(

I use album art for songs with no individual art, except Shinku, for which I made this:

@Yunabeco:
My Blackberry chose no 2, and it is really troublesome. My 3600 Slide does no.3 and now I have better respect to Nokia regarding their art handling mechanism

But you didn't say for every song Scotty :(

Also, I downgraded from OS6 to OS5. Somehow, the problem is fixed: the actual playing session displays art from the tag, while for preview it uses the art from the last song in the album's list.

I guess RIM went with a different logic for OS6. Ah, well... maybe I won't upgrade and stay with OS5, I'm comfortable with it after all. Also, this issue.
