Why do love your idol?

Hm...I feel I should do another...well to point it out I don't have one favorite idol.
Why I love Miki:
1. Her cuteness when she dances, sings and just her personality made her my first favorite.
2. Of course her development in the game is a big impression.
3. I usually don't just look at physical features, but Miki has it.Which should be just a bonus!
4. I can't resist Miki's deredere and gentle sides.

Love Yayoi because despite being poor, she still stays cheerful, optimistic, and energetic. Reminds me of how I was when I was her age. (minus the "cheerful" and "energetic" parts, lol)

Plus, her "Kiramekirari" is just so gosh-darned adorable.

I like Makoto because she is cool and boyish, but in the inside, she's a  girl too. She also is an excellent fighter and awesome at sports. She also collects stuffed animals and reads manga! Some things that I love is when I share some hobbies and skills (not the fighter part. I'm not the best) Plus, her voice is sooooooo unique and I love her all the songs she sings, especially Marionette no Kokoro, Tear, Smoky Thrill, Idolm@ster 2nd Mix, etc. . . . .

Anyway, my favorite idol is Chihaya for 2 reasons.

1. First heard her sing before any other idol, and it's great, so a case of first girl wins by me.
2. She's a lot like me (well, aside from the dead brother part). We both have one thing that we're strong on (she's good with music, especially classical, and I'm good with history), we both are pretty cold at first glance, and we're kinda idiots to others who know us pretty well.

Course, I'm good with machines, while she isn't. I know I would be really frustrated with dealing with her in teaching these things, because I admittedly have little patience for teaching someone on how to work a phone that, for me, is easy to pick up and use.

Let's see. . . Takane. . .

1. While I had to listen to the other idols a bit more to get used to them, I took to Takane's voice almost immediately. I guess I just like it best. She's also pretty versatile when it comes to songs, and sounds good with pretty much anyone.
2. I happen to find her prettiest. I have a bit of a thing for White Haired Pretty Girls. Tall girls too, come to think of it.
3. I like how she carries this air of mystique about her, and always acts quite calm and polite. Yet at the same time, she has several little quirks that I find rather endearing, such as her fondness of children's shows and amusingly voracious appetite. The anime only made me like this more. Especially the Ribbit Ribbit Kitchen episode. That frog mask. I was giggling quite a bit.

I like Makoto because she's tomboyish and adorable in the sense, really.

I have a close friend at school who really reminds me of Makoto in terms of appearance and a bit of personality too.  She's one of those kinds of friends who's been there for me when I needed her the most and gave me some guidance before confronting my parents about my ah...  personal circumstances.

Pretty much because of her I have this odd emotional connection to Makoto that wouldn't be as strong if it weren't for one of my friends from school.

Ami and Mami have been my favorites since the beginning because of a few things! First, I was 12 when I discovered iM@S, so I found being the "same age" pretty cool, as derpy as that sounds. Second, their overly energetic and mischievous personalities made me laugh and I loved watching translated commus. Third, I've always loved high pitched voices, and I like the little slurring of words they do sometimes. Finally, I love side ponytails, as weird as that is.

I actually sympathize with Makoto quite a bit, despite being built more like Takane (actually had her exact measurements back when I was skinnier. . . And then regretted not having the money to cosplay. Losing weight, though, so there may be hope yet. . .). When I was younger, I never felt very "feminine" and majority of my interests were all considered boyish. Main difference is that rather than having girls drooling over me, I instead got beat up on the playground.

I also sympathize with Chihaya and her loss, having lost several people close to me over the years. I see myself when I was 13, putting on a cold and detached demeanor to cover up just how miserable I actually was. It's very touching for me to see her eventually move on.

Hmm... Makoto... Well, I just kinda have a thing for tomboys and boyish girls, really. Plus, I like how she tries too hard to be girly. It's adorable. I'm also a sucker for any girl who addresses herself with "boku." And that giggle. Oh, lord, that giggle <3 Not only those things, but she has a wonderful singing voice that's very different from the rest of the cast.
