Why do love your idol?
« on: October 06, 2010, 02:41:32 am »
I thought of an idea while I was daydreaming. Why do I love my favorite idols? Then I started thinking a lot about how I bet everyone could talk about their faves.
ONLY RULE IS NO BASHING ON OTHERS FAVES

Here's my example:
I love Hibiki because she has a fun and genki feel, but with a bit more mature feeling. She also makes me laugh just how much she seems to have her personality all over the place.
And ponytails are hot!

I loved Yukiho ever since hearing her sing Kosmos, Cosmos two years ago. She really has a wonderful and soft voice when singing. Her cute and innocent personality is what I really like about Yukiho. Plus the shy girls tend to be the cutest. XD

I love Ami and Mami because they're lots of fun and they stand out. XD I've heard quite a few people say they're annoying, but...I think their attitudes are so enjoyable XD The twins = double the fun.

And, I also feel that in some songs, you get the impression that along with the upbeat tune, they're singing purely because they enjoy it~

Why do I love Iori? Well, I think the initial attraction was because she reminded me of my mother. As I got to know her better, I came to like her more and more. There are times where I get a "What in the world was I thinking?" moment. Tsunderes are a real handful after all. It quickly fades when I see that gentle side of her. I think that is the reason why I like tsundere characters. It takes something special to get them to show you their hidden side. A relationship with a tsundere may be difficult to start, but it is rewarding over the long run.

Azusa is just Azusa. And that makes her awesome.

I also find Yumeko hilarious. Every time she pops up on screen, she does something that makes me want to laugh.

That about sums it up :D I also like how she sounds like she's having fun when she's singing ^^

I like the twins because their insane logic and energy is always fun to watch XD And because they're cute, of course. I like Mami especially because it seems like she feels overshadowed by Ami, so I can kind of relate to her there because of my older siblings...

And finally, I like Makoto because she's just so freaking COOL!

Let's see...I love Haruka because even though she is portrayed as a plain and simple girl she isn't as 2 dimensional as you would think. And also because I think Haruka is secretly evil and just pretends to act cute to get my attention

I love Azusa because she's a character I can identify with in quite a few aspects, and someone that I think I could get along with well if I ever met someone like her.
I also enjoy her singing the most. She has such a nice voice. :)

Why do I like Takane? I'm actually not entirely sure... I was originally a fan of Yukiho, so I guess when I heard about Wandering Star I immediately got interested in it's rival. I didn't initially like her like I do now, but as I grew out out of Yukiho ('cause while her shyness was cute, I just went out of my shy-girl-liking phase...) I started listening to Takane, and I LOVED her voice~ Then I started becoming a fan of Hibiki and Miki by extension of 961, I just loved Takane's whole regal flair on things, her personality as far as I've seen it, her quirks... And I'll admit it, I like how she looks~

Ritsuko's probably my second favorite. Why? 'Cause of the glasses. And she's smart. That's really all it boils down to, though her singing does help.

Ryo-san? He's cute, honest, and for the most part, very innocent. That and its also significantly different from everyone before Ryo. He's also a great singer as well.

Azusa-oneechan is kinda like how I am (though I'm a little less calm). I love her maturity and how she just looking for someone she loves. That and I love her songs and her singing voice.

I could go on and on why Hibiki is my favourite, but I'll sum it up into three points.

1: Her bubbly, do-things-on-a-whim, lose-my-pets-all-the-time personality rocks.
2: Her singing has this certain trait to it, like you know she doesn't really care what others are thinking as long as she's enjoying herself and kicking ass at auditions.
3: She has really long black hair in a ponytail. Nuff' said.

I think that gets straight to the point.

Plus Rie Kugimiya as Iori's voice actor is a humongously added bonus.

Loved Miki for her story arc as well as her *coughchugscough*. ^^
