Good lord, I have no idea why I didn't just do this earlier. I love me some Im@s, so it only makes sense to join this forum.
Alrighty then, my actual name is Chris, I'm a 15 year old guy who turns 16 in just two days now. Other then Idolm@ster, my hobbies include video games of the RPG, MMORPG and the fighting genres, I love learning different languages but I haven't gotten around to fully commiting myself to full comprehend one yet but starting next year I have Japanese and Italian classes I will be taking, so I'm very excited for those to begin. I work part-time at a video game/anime/manga/figurine store, so it's quite the dream job for me. Better than McDonalds or something.
I first got into the Im@s scene when I made a Japanese Xbox Live account to download the demo for Tenchu Z when it was still only available on Japan's marketplace and it was just plastered with new DLC for the Cheerleader outfit. My first thought was, "Whoa, wait. What's this Idolm@ster you speak of? It has cute anime girls that actually look good in 3D. Must search more..." And as I completely neglected my original purpose for making an account, I went and download the "Massugu" PV. Needless to say, I was hooked instantly.
Now that Namco Bandai has me basically obsessed, I was looking up anything I could on im@s goodies daily, and that was the minimum. This led me to the Project Im@s wiki and forums, as I visited the Wikipedia link for Idolm@ster one day for the 50th or some crazy number like that. This was back during the older forums. From that day, I became one of those guests you ALWAYS see lurking the forums. This changed yesterday, when I decided "Aw, what the heck. Why don't I just join already!? That way, I can talk to other im@s fans." And so, I registered and waited for my account to get accepted and since I was accepted, I am now typing up this introduction.
Unfortunately, I myself do not own a Japanese Xbox 360, so I cannot play the nice HD version to the game. However I can play Missing Moon on my PSP with access to superior 961 idols such as... all of them. Since I have a job as of recently though, I can save up money to actually buy one in 2011, along with a copy of Idolm@ster 2 when it comes out.
My favourite idol would have to be Hibiki. Ponytails and 961 rule, yo. There is a short and simple reason why my name is Himoto; It's the last name of my Final Fantasy XI character. It's a roleplaying thing.
Right now, other than the usual, I'm quite into Final Fantasy XIV. Just recently got it and it rocks my socks.
That abouts sums it up for me. Yeah I know, I type WAY too much for an intro, but it's a Sunday, and I'm working. Hence, the store is super dead and I'm super bored. So yeah, hope to have lots of good times on this forum with all you guys! It's a pleasure. ^_^
EDIT: Uhm, yikes I didn't realize just how LONG I really made my introduction. Cutting out a bit so people don't drill out their mind wth useless info if they even read this post. T-T;
