I thought you were jokingly grabbing the chance to call me weird for liking Hokuto (as opposed to Touma—everyone else's favorite!), so I figured I'd catch you in the act! ;D

I don't think it's weird to like Hokuto as I used to like him too. (Because of his love for piano and violin, my two fav instruments!)

It's almost as if the Jupiter characters were given their hobbies as an afterthought—do they ever refer to them in the game? It's very easy to picture some great situations they didn't take advantage of, but that they could use in the anime.
Llike Hokuto expecting to win Makoto with an impressive violin performance—not realizing that sporty Makoto isn't much for classical music, or that Shouta has replaced Hokuto's violin strings with rubber bands (okay, maybe this is a little too close to the Three Stooges now!).

I don't know, I think they added in the interests to make them more interesting...Like maybe I would be able to see Touma cooking in the kitchen with an apron on him! :3 Or maybe seeing Hokuto playing the piano! Squee~!
