He's 16. The artist who drew him wanted to draw Jupiter (if they didn't disband) 2 years later.
2 years later, a tragic accident happened on him. I'm not really sure what is was but I think it's his right thigh had a bone fracture and he had to go to the hospital for the surgery. Thus, he had a hidden scar on his thigh.

But I liked the way, the creator of this Fanart made a story about Jupiter, fi they weren't disbanded etc.

Aww, poor Shota :( Very sexy, though. Not a creeper at all. I'd like to see Touma and Hokuto 2 years older too....
