I must say, I'm a bit surprised at Marx too, but Marx's reply brings up an excellent, true point. :D
But doesn't everyone automatically support ProducerxIdol anyways since having a good relationship with your idol is kind of a main point in the game? ???
You see, we yaoi fans can take ANY sentence a male character says and change it into something romantic. It's more fun that way. Although Touma said "Jupiter's producer," not "my producer." If he said "my producer," I would get more of that potential shipping vibe. But peeps can make a pairing out of practically anything, no matter how nonsensical it may seem.
I just like PxTouma as a crack pairing, but I don't ship it seriously. I repeat, I DON'T ship it seriously. As Marx said, a PxMaleIdol pairing is like a breath of fresh air for a lot of fans. And it provides some new romantic & comedy fodder.

Hey, why be on the defensive?
I like PxTouma (...and HokutoxP), but for similar reasons to IorixP and MikixP. Who doesn't want to see an easily-flustered P-rotagonist saddled with a lovable, manipulative, slightly sexy but intensely flawed girlfriend/boyfriend? It's called classic comedy stylings. And at more serious moments, it can be a turn-on, too.
But it doesn't mean that in an alternate fictional realm, Touma can't be the eternal lifemate of our own Clear Blue. Warning though, Clear—Shouta is jealous and told me he's going to disguise himself as Touma and take his place. I warned Shouta that he was the wrong height for that, but he blew me off. Kids today...

I'm sure everyone has their own alternate realm in which they can be with Touma. But in Clear's realm, poor Shouta...I'll date you! <3
