Appears like that. I don't know why, but my reason is because we may get actual unleaded romance subplots this time around.

Not always the case. Celeb pairings do boost each other's popularity, or so that's the plan.
But I wouldn't worry. This is 961 we're talking about, so I know Kuroi will make it hard on himself.
