But I got it in white so no one would ever ever ever get confused!  :'(

But yeah, iPad 2. Has the little camera there and everything. Really sexy piece of hardware just from the thin form factor alone.

Well. No one in the entire planet has a NEED for an iPad. The iPad, right now, is more about entertainment. A very fancy gadget that makes getting your entertainment easier and more streamlined. In the future, I'm sure tablets will replace SOMETHING, and will be more of a need than a want, but not right now.

If you don't own an iPad, but want one, go all out and get iPad 2 and not a cheaper 1st gen one. The speed and power it has to offer, in an even THINNER profile makes it very difficult for me to go back to an old iPad. It's worth it.

If you already have an iPad? The upgrade is nice and all, but if you're hurting for cash and don't want to spend all that cash for the 2nd gen, you can definitely wait for the 3rd.

It was so worth it to me though, since I love gadgets.  ;D

The 3-D without the glasses is impressive. Your eyes will hurt after a bit, and nobody can try to watch you play over your shoulder as long as the 3-D is active. Or they can try and get sick.

Mainly I'm concerned with the recreation of games and money system I've been hearing about. But I'll save that for the section for games.

Usually, I'd shun Windows Internet Explorer for the sake of shunning Windows Internet Explorer (due to the fact it has so little features compared to any other kind of browser at any given year) but I like Internet Explorer 9

It has no visible feature, yes, but that's why I like it

It's so.... clean. Fits perfectly with default Windows 7 theme, and offers a very LARGE and unobstructed page view

Compare to Firefox, which have menus and tabs and what not that reduces the viewport size. Opera has a status bar, but is offset by the fact it uses the top area more efficiently (tabs are at the same height with minimize button)

Internet Explorer 9 has only one row of shit which consists of back&forward Firefox 3 style (back button is bigger than forward), an address bar which doubles as search bar and includes reload and stop button, and the tabs, with 3 icons at the very right

No status bar. Links are displayed at the bottom left with a floating box like Firefox 4

Well, it's not bad

It's really nice. The hardware acceleration is great too. But with the constant updates on Google Chrome, there's no way any other browser can win me over. IE9 is a huge step in the right direction though, and I won't point and laugh at it anymore.

I tried installing IE9 some time ago, but for some reason I ended up getting the 32-bit version, which isn't compatible with my 64-bit computer. :P
But it doesn't look all that bad. Gonna give it a test drive in a moment.

I finally got a new laptop today. I am really impressed. It's a Gateway, with Windows 7 Home Premium, 320 GB HDD, and 3GB of RAM. I'm able to play Minecraft now!
