So how about that NGP?!

Form factor, didn't like, but it grew on me quick! Totally sold on this already, the amount of ways we can get solid controls on a game is just great.

NGP is looking mighty tasty. I definitely want one.

As delicious as the NGP looks, I can't get myself interested enough to buy one. Although, that's mainly because I don't very much care for portable consoles.

My biggest wonder is how quickly the battery will die. All the wonderful features the NGP comes with would surely make the battery work to stay active. But then again, technology advances faster than one would think, so perhaps they have a way of making the battery live longer...? I, personally, would not like to play an NGP for a total of 3-4 hours before recharging each time.

But, other than that, it's looking like quite a powerful little device. I wish I could get myself interested in it, but... ahh well.

I ended up telling my boss about the NGP and 3DS. She saw dollar signs. Lots of 'em.

Well, that nice little ARM architecture it has is most definitely efficient. That, along with the gorgeous OLED screen has basically assured the NGP to last longer than the 3DS. I'm thinking 5 hours minimum.

FIVE HOURS?! BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Seriously, people are still getting their panties in a knot over battery life? I imagine quite a few devices nowadays last that long when left on. It would be convenient to find ways to get even longer battery life, though, but is it really necessary to use a portable machine for that long?

... maybe in this case with the NGP. :~)

The NGP looks AMAZING.  Although the price worries me, especially since it hasn't been announced.  I'm half expecting it to be 499 bucks, but most likely I assume it'll be 299 just to ensure it sells (I hope anyways).  Even then I might just do what I did with the PSP and wait for a game to come out that I really want to play.  Because I didn't even purchase a PSP until Idolm@ster came out for it, and I wasn't going to get a PSP until Dissidia came out originally.  So I'm all for an Idolm@ster game on either PS3 or NGP, it'll make me want to buy the system.

Think I read it's backwards compatible, but only with digital content. No UMDs, it doesn't read them. I get the feeling if you bought it from the Playstation Store and downloaded it, it'll work fine.

As for me, I'll wait until the second run more than likely. I'll consider it afterwards.

I don't think cars fit in this sort of thread... but regardless of which, the Aventator is definitely the hottest car released this year so far. I'll have one in flat black, please... :~)
