Yeah, I'm making a tech topic. Lets talk about any piece of tech we own/want/hate.
No putting down other people for what they have guys, if it gets too intense I'm bringing out the fire extinguisher.

Anyways, talk about phones, computers, OSes, gaming systems, whatever. I kinda started this because I wanted to ask you guys your opinion on big phones. You know, like the EVO 4G and Droid X. Personally, after holding one, I would love to have a 4+ inch phone. Fits my hand perfectly.

Once I get a steady job, I'm going to upgrade my cell phone to a HTC Legend. I was initially going to go for the Palm Pre, but I think going with an Android OS phone will be more beneficial.

I'd hold off on that for a bit if I were you. Apparently, the HTC Legend is at an end over at Bell. Due to some supply crap. AMOLED screens might be the problem. Hard to make.

Shame really, how a phone that good can die so quick.

Oh, really? That bites...
They do, however, carry iPhones as well, but I'm worried that will make a gigantic hole in my wallet.

I pray for success with your drawing skills. Unfortunate for me at the moment i'm to broke to even consider an uprgade. So for now I'm stuck with Picasa but enough of my ranting I was wondering if anyone knew of any good animation software.

You definitely look like you're in dire need of a tablet. I remember using my tablet-PC and having such an easy time with Photoshop CS3. Now? Using a mouse with CS5 is kinda painful...

Picked up a HTC Snap as my new phone. I chose it for its QWERTY keyboard, Office Mobile and the lack of a built-in camera (security reasons).

I didn't have many phones to choose from anyway since it's next to impossible to find a non-camera smartphone nowadays.

What's up with the no wanting of a camera?

And doesn't the HTC Snap have a camera?

The Snap has a non-camera version being sold here. Not sure if they have that where you live.

Some workplaces, especially military bases, have a ban on camera-equipped phones since they don't want people going around taking pictures and possibly jeopardizing security or sensitive info. I go to such places quite often, so a non-camera cellphone would be much less of a hassle than carrying around two phones (a camera and non-camera).

Besides, I hardly used the camera function of my old phone anyway.

Oh, makes a ton of sense now.

And no, there aren't any Snaps in NA that I know of (all HTC phones).

It's September!

You know what that means. Apple event.

http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/01/live-from-apples-fall-2010-event/

Less than an hour from now. If you have an iThing, you can also go to apple's site and watch a live stream of it there.

Only if you have an iThing though, no windows and all that.

Stupid...

*Turns on iPad.*
