Huge doubts it'll happen, but the thought is very scary.

Oi...been trying to find a use for this thing. Got RAM, Optical drive, the SSD, and an i7 940 sitting around. Still have Board, PS, Video Card, and case to go...

How big is the SSD?

(sorry for not replying sooner!)

Also, Nexus S came out today, as soon as I get the cash, I'm springing for it.

The Ipod touch 4 is surprisingly long lasting! I'm at 20% power yet I have about 2 hours of Wifi internet and there's 6 hours of audio playback left!  :D
I can just sit and listen to music for awhile even at low power!

I'm so easily amazed right now...I'm scared of myself...

I seriously recommend skipping that net book purchase. Net books just aren't wise investments .

They can be, it only depends what equipment you already have. A netbook is a very nice add to a powerful desktop computer for example.

I really don't see how a netbook can be a great addition to an already powerful desktop. Please explain.

If you have certain programs you can access your desktop from your net book making all that insane Desktop power portable.

Like I can on my iPad? Why not drop down an extra hundred or so for a decent laptop if that's the case? Better investment in the long run.

The only reason I wanted to buy a netbook is because I thought it would be cheaper, lighter and (obviously) smaller.
I heard that the netbook I'm getting is going to have a webcam, ability to get on the internet through wi-fi and run faster then a regular laptop.

Netbooks will never run faster than a laptop.

Laptops give you much more overall. Netbooks are underpowered little windows to the web. That is all.

I have a netbook (alongside my desktop which I'd never replace) and I'm surprised at how well it handles well...anything, to be honest.

I've had games and all sorts running on it and minus a few issues it seems to run pretty decently and can handle a fair few things running. I've had it running for a few days straight before and it seemed okay, though I think it might have bluescreened on me once or twice overnight in the months I've had it.

I mainly got it because it was cheap, light and small and I needed something I could just slide in a backpack and take places when I stay over etc. but considering I wasn't expecting much more than something that struggled to run firefox I was pretty surprised and I'm kind of happy with it.

That and I wasn't the one paying for it.

Well, when you do pay for one with your own money, you'll feel different.
