It's nice and all but it just looks too much like a "shuffle pro" they look too alike. It sacrificed a camcorder for size. Not a fan of sacrificing functionality for size.

After spending some time with iTunes 10 it certainly feels much quicker, ping is absolutely useless to me right now. To anyone really. Although I am loving the apple/Facebook drama.

My cousin got an iPhone 4 recently. Not a bad piece of tech...

As for me, my decision is a 3-way between the iPhone 4, the Palm Pre, and the HTC I mentioned earlier, or any other Android OS phones that may come to Bell.

One of the things that may be against me getting an iPhone, though, is that Bell has separate plans for the iPhones, and iirc they can be fairly expensive... :3c

Android or Windows 7 slate. It'll go well reading .pdf(s) of my textbooks for school.

Why not both?

iPhone 4 is certainly looking pretty irresistible to me, might even spring for a new iTouch. Depending on how those plans on Bell are though, I'd advise you to get something less feature heavy....you don't exactly seem like the type that would use EVERYTHING an iPhone offers...(Which you should, since you'd be paying out the butt for it)

You may have a point.

I also just got some pamphlet things from Bell about upgrading to the Palm Pre. Seeing as it apparently costs nothing if I upgrade to it with a 3 year contract, and I still need to pay some money upfront for the other phones I was looking at, I may look further into getting a Pre. :)

Yea, that's a bit of a catch... Bell has 3-year contracts, and depending how good your phone is, that may or may not be bearable.

My Shine Flip served me well for the three years I had it, but it's starting to be really crappy. The battery life is terrible, the camera doesn't work anymore, and the web browser isn't good at all, at least not anymore.

The warranty of my 3-year old laptop (Dell Inspiron) ends this month. It can definitely last a couple of years more, but I'm keeping my eye on the market just in case something good comes up, preferably a desktop replacement that's considered high-end but not a dedicated gaming machine.

For those that aren't in the know, I upgraded to the Palm Pre after. :D

Just in time for me to go to college, too.

I have a feeling a speaker on my phone is busted. It sounds scratchy when I play videos or get phone calls. Apparently, some Palm Pre users have this problem. :-\
