The original was far more colorful, I can give you that.

I guess it's all original for me. Never liked remixes from the get go

I dunno if 'techno-y' is the word, but there's a reliance on almost-metronomic beat as opposed to actually having melodies that accompany the lyrics well.

If that's true, then I might not get 2nd Vision stuff more than DREAM. What I like from THE iDOLM@STER is the fact that they are melodious and colorful (bands here got nothing but drum the sh*t out of it and some crazy guitar performance, or outright slooooow), I never actually played the game (except DS, and boy I never do pass the 1st day).

If their musical focus is different now (THE iDOLM@STER must go on?!) then I'll be one of those guys pondering the good ol' times over and over and over.

Its ok you're not alone. They hooked me with Ace Combat, iDOLM@STER just made it worse. Also have to agree with you on the whole Remixes thing. Always prefer the Originals, with a few acceptations.

Well, I saved 1500 yen for something I won't miss I guess now to look forward to Haruka, Miki, Chihaya and Takane.

I think Azumin gets credit for Yukiho, but Yukiho does sound kind of crazy in Danketsu. Her voice is louder than Yayoi's.

Wow, it's a little different for what i thoguht it would be. I thought it was going to be 1 new song, 2 covers, 3 2nd mixed versions of old songs and 1 karaoke version of new song.

Okay, just officially heard Danketsu 2010 and Hikari. Conclusion: glad I saved 1500 yen from this.

1. Hikari: pretty good, really, but not enough to warrant a buy
2. Danketsu 2010 : gimme back my shy Yukiho, that's all. Jesus, comparing original with 2010 reveals a huge problem in Yukiho's new voice, namely so freaking different. Also, Takane's pause is too long, I thought the track broke for a few seconds there.
3. 2nd Mix: stale and bland.
4. Conversations: not for me.

After those, I'm back to Shinku and DREAM, literally.

Now to see if the first 3 are worth it
