What Anime Are You Watching Now?
OniZetto:
Space Battleship Yamato 2199, the legendary, nearly-invincible Japanese battleship battles the Nazi-alike aliens in the galaxy again!
The Battle of the Rainbow Star Cluster was simply astonishing! Although Yamato suffers critical damage from Garmillas' fierce bombing, it managed to survive thanks to the Admiral Okita's wise move.
And look how Yamato torn the Zoelguut-class Dreadnought into pieces with its remaining firepower, after luring it into the ionize turbulence.
Tafira:
I decided I needed something quite dark...too much lighthearted anime for a while.
So I have recently started watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, or When the Cicadas cry.
(steam recently released ch.1 of the vn so that also reminded me of it)
I have to say it isn't like any anime I've ever watched before....
NEVER BEFORE WAS THE MOE EVER THE SAME AGAIN...GOD DAMN IT RENA
I am eager to figure out the mystery though, rarely do I find anime where you have to think so much. ^^;
Naryoril:
if you want something not so light hearted you could take a look at Little Busters (has relatively many light hearted moments though), Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso or Clannad (prepare tissues, especially if you also watch After Story)
Okayu:
I'm watching Hibike! Euphonium and Yo-kai Watch. I've been enjoying both.
Kousaka reminds me of Chihaya a bit in how they're both passionate and dedicated to music, although Kousaka plays the trumpet while Chihaya sings.

Yo-kai Watch I've been watching awhile since I was curious why Japanese kids were hooked and ended up getting hooked myself. It's interesting for a kid's anime, but no one is subbing it officially, and the fan subs stopped around episode 25, so I've had to watch it raw. I'm on episode 43 out of 67 currently, and there's a second season on the way too. The music is so catchy. It's supposed to be coming worldwide next year. By the way the male MC Keita share's Ai's VA.
The Premise is a boy named Keita finds a Yo-kai named Whisper who gives him a Yo-kai Watch that allows him to see Yo-kai. Yo-kai are behind various things that happen in daily life.

Also it's been awhile since I saw it, but I thought it was a short but interesting take on idol anime. Idol Defense Force Hummingbird, an idol OVA from the early 90s.

Watching Hibike! Euphonium as well! It really is more fun when you know how to play an instrument yourself. I just wish there were more squeaks from the clarinets and blasts from the trumpets occasionally. I think it only happened once, and it would have been much better if they slipped up more in the beginning and less near the end.
