I've yet to play the games, but I'm interested. Should I check out the game or the anime first?

Meanwhile, I've been following Kill la Kill. Has some very good action and hilarious comedic moments. The characters are really likeable, too, even the villains.

blazblue? hmm... that's a hard question D:
as far as the eps goes, the anime version is somewhat not so friendly with people who just started following the series. they cut plenty of the small details/background story/character. if you still wanna watch, I'd suggest don't play it first, you will enjoy(being confused) the anime more if you haven't played the game. then you can play the game to discover some trivia/background/side story along the story line/characters.

Ever heard of Sakura Trick? Well, it's new and it's coming out next January. Apparently, the upcoming anime is based off a four-panel yuri comic. Turns out a Million Live VA (Momo Asakura voices Seriko, who was also cast in the iM@S movie) is going to voice one of the main characters (the other being Miku Hatsune's voice provider).

The more I see new footage of Wake Up! Girls, the more excited I am to watch it. They recently released a new unit voiced by Haruka Tomatsu and Kana Hanazawa (Ai and Eri respectfully).

Finished off JoJo's Bizarre Adventure recently. Can't wait for Stardust Crusaders next year!

I also managed to see Madoka Magica: Rebellion at the theater a few weeks ago. It rekindled my love for the Puella Magi series, and I really loved the movie! That ending, though. Thinking back on it, I think the Incubators were more villainous than what Homura turned out to be. She ended up being more of a victim... though everyone is happy in the new world, would Homura technically keeping Madoka hostage be an appropriate cost?

While KlK is on haitus, I'm picking up Watamote again.

I marathoned Kill la Kill up to the most recent episode and have been thoroughly enjoying it. I highly recommend checking it out.

I think that's it. I also plan to re-watch Asura Cryin' 2 (just season two, that on was my favorite and I've already seen it through once), I'm in the midst of re-watching R.O.D -The TV-, and I recently finished re-watching Xenoglossia for the six-thousandth time, this time complete with OVAs!
Why are all my favorite animes so obscure...? (Not the ones I'm currently watching, those ones are fine.)
