What Anime Are You Watching Now?

AweOfShe:
It might be cause it feels so... disjointed, I guess? I can't speak for him, since I kind of enjoyed the anime myself. But between the main story and S.Links, there's (understandably) a lot of cuts, and it ends up kind of all over the place. Though it could just be the calendar thing screwing with my perception. :P

I don't think it's a bad adaptation at all though, considering the game had such an open schedule. But I can certainly understand why it wouldn't work for some people.

My recommendation is to watch a few episodes online, before you decide to purchase or not. This place streams them officially/legally, if I recall: www.theanimenetwork.com

@JNiles I just didn't think they did any of the characters justice, but... I dunno. They seemed to up the drama a bit too much than I was comfortable with and it came across as very soap opera-y. And they really pushed Yosuke/Chie far too much, along with Souji/Yukiko, and then when they made such a balls-up with the camp scene, I stopped watching roundabouts there because I was just dissatisfied.

I mean, Persona 4 was far from my favourite Persona game anyway, so maybe I'm just more critical, but... I dunno. It's far too game-y to make for a good anime adaptation, especially since so much of the fun depended on personal choice as the MC. :v

AweOfShe:
I must admit, I actually kind of like that they made the main character a dead-pan. I like dead-pan humor characters. :P

PinoyCruger:
Managed to watch the final episode of Gundam AGE, and it was a great run.

baruhara:
@AweOfShe Yeah, I do too, but... I can't articulate it rightly. It just didn't feel like it suited an anime adaptation at all, and it was everything I feared it would be.
