Hitting up the Angel Beats con. (a bit late haha) while I don't think Hinata was lying, to me, it kind of felt out of the blue to say that.  I mean, I guess, I would've like to seen more development on their relationship instead of beating on each other in almost every episode.  However, Angel Beats is ending in like...3 episodes, so I hope it ties all together

Has anyone been watching Working!!? I started yesterday, and I'm just waiting for a chance to get to watch ten.

other than Angel Beats and Working!!, I'm not sure what else to watch...

I've been watching it, and it's extremely funny and well done!

But I'm trying to see if I can get my hands on a Tales of Vesperia movie sub.

Working!!'s OP rocks. ED sucks. The first few episodes made me want to quit watching immediately, but it's getting better and better (minus that hot spring episode...ugh). Sometimes feels like stereotypical annie-moo fare, but it has its moments.

Not nearly as good as other slice of life series everyone should know of (Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, Minami-ke, k-on...), but it's proving a good break after all other comedy/slice of life options have been exhausted

Also Inami needs to stop raping the show with her dominating presence. She's not that interesting of a character, and she's super-repetitive in her personality.

Inami does have a context consuming character, however the narrative is focussing on trying to establish a relation between Takanashi and herself.

I will agree that some of the other characters have a lack of screen time.

Its a cute series that isn't bound by the traditional mold of High School centered backdrop, even though the characters with the most screen time are still in High School.

Something I have a small gripe about is the use of K-On! style animation tropes ><

While I don't have a problem about Inami; I do agree that she does take up a lot of screen time (Taneshima agrees to an extent! / episode preview for 12 ).  I was hoping that 11 would be more of a Kyouko/Yachiyo/Satou episode, but I was proven wrong ]:

The OP is cute, and I thought the ED was okay, but not as good.

But I'm trying to see if I can get my hands on a Tales of Vesperia movie sub.

Chihiro's subs were out a couple of days ago, AC's is gonna be out soon 8D;

Saw the final Episode of Angel Beats.

I'll agree with what most people say, it ended WAY TO QUICKLY! no background on the other's (TK, Shiina, etc) and a lot was left unexplained.

The episode's saving grace was the final moments of the show. When Angel disappeared leaving Otanashi behind I cried. Well, not really but I did choke up a bit. ::)

All in all, it was an, at best, good episode.

Props to marx for the sig.

Random delusional conjecturelike spoilerz
Otonashi, left behind in tears will eventually create some program with the last computer with Angel Player on it.
In order to prevent others from feeling sad he creates something that'll mess up the afterlifeworld, before he finally reincarnates...

The timeflow in the afterlife is like a circle, the time when one dies and the time one enters the afterlife world are 2 seperate things, same for the time one dissapears from the afterlife and when one reincarnates.

Bleh.

Not really watching anything right now. I was watching Ginga Densetsu Weed, which is almost 5 years old but I never watched before, but I think I gave up, because I haven't watched in a long time and I forgot what episode I left off on. I want to watch the Trigun movie, but I still haven't found a sub for it. Then again, I prefer the dub for Trigun, so I guess I'll wait it out until it's licensed.

Manga wise, I'm rereading Trigun Maximum. It's SO GOOD. Why they made a movie based on the bleh anime (though I still want to watch said movie because I still love the anime anyway) and not an animated adaptation of the vastly superior manga is beyond me.

Seriously, I'll start a freaking petitition to get an anime of Maximum if I have to, I want to see partly black haired Vash animated before I die.

Just watched the last episode of Angel Beats. It was a pretty sad ending. Just when Kanade and Otonashi confessed their love for each other Kanade dissappeared. I still think they ended the show too early, plus there were some parts I believe that were left out. But overall I liked the show for it's great soundtrack and animations. One of the best anime shows this year so far.

You can only fit so many episodes into a season. They had too many constraints on a project they weren't sure would be successful or not.

PS: Kanade never confessed her love.
