Final Fantasy. Last time I cared about it was for FF10... and kinda 11 which I dabbled in with friends. I felt there were too many things wrong with 12, but I'm not the only one who dropped it - Yasumi Matsuno did too!

Although apparently, Ace Attorney is being subbed with the Japanese names, which means I might actually try it.

Oh, okay.  I thought you were referring to something from next season anime because I tried looking up the Spring animes to see what you meant.  But, I'm assuming that FF XV anime (5 episode series 12 min each) is just a monthly thing until the game's release date. 

I guess some people have different reasons for leaving the FF series.  Didn't know Yasumi Matsuno (Final Fantasy Tactics director) dropped the series.

Personally, I skipped out on the series during the FF XIII era.  But, now FF XV seemed to caught my interest, so I think I'm going to like it even though it does some things differently from past FF's.

Just finished watching a couple of animes.

Gundam Orphans - actually it will take a break and continue during the winter season this year.  The 1st season was pretty good.  I'm not really a fan of gundam, so I never finished watching other gundam series.  But, this one made me keep going until the end.

Brave Beats - shounen-hero anime based on dance.  I love the choreography.  It makes me want to copy them and start dancing.  They really did a good job of neatly wrapping up everything at the end.  Surprisingly, for a kids show, they did the shipping/romance stuff pretty well for the protagonist at least during the last 2 episodes.

More anime and not video games? Well, I did suffer through DmC so I could eventually appreciate DMC4: SE more...

Dagashi Kashi - Halfway through, but the humor isn't really getting me. To me, distinctly average.

Phantom World - From what I hear, they didn't even get through the first novel and gave this anime an original happy ending. Which from what I hear, is actually good if they have one season, because the first novel's ending is decidedly not happy. Far from. They kinda allude to it, and I kinda caught on... (but only because I started a TRPG session with a similar plot in mind). It can be enjoyable, but you might have to get past the fan service.

Grimgar - A special mention to Grimgar. It starts off painfully slow, and the pacing is never fast, but I really enjoyed this show. I actually consider the main characters in this anime to be more heroic than some characters in other anime could ever hope to be. Being able to beat up bad guys doesn't make you a hero, it just means you're a brute that happens to be on the right side. The characters in Grimgar make more difficult decisions than who to kill and what they have to pull out to take something down.

I heard DmC was terrible among Devil May Cry fans.  I only played Devil May Cry 4: SE, but I don't think I want to play DmC.

I've read the combat was too simplified and fans hated Dante's attitude from that game.  I think that's why some fans call Dante from DmC "Donte" just to dissociate him from the Dante from the other Devil may Cry games.

I could put Donte on blast for the longest time, but this video establishes the point more than I ever could.

I've seen DmC and..... it actually looks like a good game to me. Granted, not as good as the main series (besides 2) but it still looks like a decent hack n slash game to me. Especially the PS4 version where it fixes the issues that people had with the original game like adding a lock-on feature. So I recommend trying it out.

The story is complete garbage, though.

Meanwhile I took Psycho-Pass out of my backlog. While not on the level of let's say Ghost In The Shell SAC, I liked it, but I think I preferred the earlier part. Before Makishima got arrested, or even before he killed Akane's friend.

I'm watching Non Non Biyori right now.  I find it crazy that Hotaru is actually only 11 years old, even though she appears to be like at least 20 years old.

I started watching "Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto" (Sakamoto Desu ga?).  It's a comedy.  The first episode was really funny.  Like, my brother and I were rolling on the floor laughing at a certain part.  The subsequent episodes weren't as funny, but made me crack a smile at different parts.

I heard that the director or someone like that is the same from Gintama.  So, I could see where it gets its humor from.

I started watching GATE yesterday. I just wanted to watch 1 or 2 episodes, it ended with me forcing myself to go to bed 7 or 8 episodes later at 1:45am...

I really like the setting, afaik nothing like that has been done before.

Durarara!! x2. I know it's been over a year since the first episode came out, but my friend just finally convinced me to watch it. I don't know why I waited so long, I knew about it when they first started showing it. And I remember the two of us watching the original season on a site called justdubs as it was coming out, but I don't know if that's even a thing any more.

I am already into the second arc after starting it just a couple days ago, though. My favorite characters were always Heiwajima Shizuo and Kida Masaomi, but with this new season, Kyohei Kadota(Dotachin) has really begun to grow on me after a certain episode, and I've started to like a new character, Rokujou Chikage, as well.

idk why but i really dislike mainstream animes like GATE, Fate, DRR, Death Note, SNK or anything ppl talk about really. So i stick to my favourite slice of life genre and Shounen Maid is so cute with interesting characters and cute designs lol

Well, I finished DRRR!! x2. All the feels.

Working backwards now, going to watch at least the first season of Inuyasha now, since when it was actually airing, I was super young and I only picked up bits and pieces. I watched a couple episodes of the Final Act, but not all of them, either.
