Okay okay okay so my excuse (which you will take whether you LIKE IT OR NOT), is that I have been squirreling away to study and finish things that I didn't know where midterms until like, three days before they happened. Also I went to Disneyland last weekend!! no joke. freakin' 5 hour drive to LA and back, and it rained when it was my turn to drive! AAAAAAAA.

So that you guys aren't too unhappy(?), here is a comic I did a while ago for dreamin' dreamin'!

Hey guys, remember when I said that part 5 and part 7 would be dealing with mature themes? Turns out while laying out the story I placed an event in part 6 that was supposed to happen before something very important in part 4. WHOOPS. So what this means is that either part 4 might be longer than other ones, or some events will be pushed off into later parts.

Regardless, I'll give out a warning before posting sensitive material.

Part 4 is under construction.

Due to the pacing gaffe mentioned earlier, every part's events from here on will be bumped to the next one. Unless something else comes up, the "mature" parts will be 6 and 8 now.

just stuck my thoughts under spoilers so I don't spoil anyone on this chapter [:  Poor Chihaya, I feel so sorry that she got cheated out of the competition.  I'm actually curious on if Haruka really did win by a hair or not -- although we know it's Kuroi's smooth talking way.

On technical terms with the chapter, I spotted a typo: "what she needed was a chance of pace" I believe it should be 'change'.  There's a couple of lines that I felt didn't flow, and one that was pretty wordy as well.

Keep it trekkin' Urby, since I know this is just the beginning of this giant piece.

Would have the same reaction as Hibiki did when she covered Takane's mouth -- hands down.  _{at least she didn't bite}

I really enjoyed this chapter -- maybe because of my recent fondness of hibiki it had a mix of everything-- humor, seriousness, and hibiki perhaps a turning point.  Compared to last chapter, which I felt was like a filler, this one was quite nice.

Licking a hand that is covering your mouth is much easier than biting it. I know.

You know my writerly beta friend said something amongst those lines, that the last part was weaker than the other ones. I don't feel that way and I certainly wouldn't consider it "filler", since that implies that things happen for the sake of happening and that is certainly not the case. Things happen for a reason!!


Part 6, being complicated and sensitive topics ahoy, may be a while in coming.
