It's because they're popular, and probably obviously more loved than Jupiter, that he's denying their existence. lol There's a philosopher who (probably essentially) said that because you don't think it's real, it's not (I forgot who, though). Keep in mind he's 'role-playing' as Kuroi.

Though on-topic: Agreeing with Doriru with putting the 876 idols there will reduce the 'damage' Jupiter did.

I doubt it would ever happen. Doesn't Nintendo own some of the rights? (Wait a minute, DLC in Tales...nvmd) No offense but if I were them I would have never brought those boys up again since the "reaction".

Without a doubt, they did "damage"; a great amount of the Japanese fanbase hates them.

From what I can tell on the forum, most of us either like them or really couldn't care less about them.

I still find it stupid how some otaku over-react at the addition of male idols, believing that their favorite idols will be taken away by them.
Then they throw a rage fest, and end up pre-ordering the game anyway.

But because of them, I'm pretty sure Jupiter probably has a lot less appearances than they originally planned.
I'm with Scotty, it was a great idea for rivalry, but the fanbase blew it.

I have to agree with Scotty on this case. I mean where the hell do people get the idea that having male idols in im@s is a bad idea!?

I personally don't mind the fact that they put Project Jupiter into the game. In fact I think it was a pretty good idea. I sure as hell wouldn't destroy any of my im@s figures over something silly like that. Besides, I value the im@s figures I got. XD

Eh, not sure why the big reaction from the Japanese fanbase. It's totally unawesome. There are plenty of males in the game before Project Jupiter showed up anyway. Granted, most of them are silhouettes, but they are still male!
