Well (and this has been said before), considering iM@S DS was the first installment of the 2nd Vision thing, it is a bit odd that nothing from that game so far is coming over to iM@S2.

Really. The idols weren't bad. The songs weren't bad. The gameplay was just awful. 876Pro is getting the short end of the stick imo.

As long as iM@S2 doesn't play like iM@SDS, we'll be good.

I wonder if they have the ability to pause during lessons, too. Sounds stupid, but iM@SDS took that feature out...makes the lyrics/vocal lessons way, way harder.

I also hope they fixed....hmm, what lesson was it in SP? Where you had to hit the ball into sections of lyrics that weren't red. That was the most useless lesson...the stat-bonus setup was great, but the lesson itself...

In the xbox360 the only 2 stat lessons were dance and visual lesson (pose) and dance and vocal lesson (voice?).

Performance Lesson: Vocal + Visual. Did not like this lesson. Not at all.

Take out the gameplay and bloated story and you've got raw gold waiting for goldsmiths.

After all these days, I finally saw Smoky Thrill. I have to say it's like discovering GO MY WAY!! for the first time. I like it, a lot! Especially the funny choreography

And I see they keep that offering gesture for THE iDOLM@STER 2nd Mix choreography

You know what might be a nice little bonus-iM@S feature? If they had a PV editor sort of thing.

Not all out like the Project Diva ones (just using in-game songs/dances would be good), but where you could customize camera angles, special effects, backgrounds, etc. Like, make an actual PV for the song  you're producing. My brain is currently soaked with Momusu PVs so...

I know that would probably never happen...but it would be a pretty fun feature.

I think a cool feature would be making advertisements for your idol like a lil art game where you could take pictures of your idol and then put her on a poster and stuff.

Yeah that sort of thing! A bit of customization beyond the live performance itself.

The bottom left screenshot looks like Smoky Thrill costumes for the normal idols XD

Do have to still question the minimum amount of idols in free produce/office mode; seeing these solo and duo screenshots makes me wonder what they're doing with that. (They even say "solo" and "duo" in the corner. What gives?)

Also, I think NBGI is releasing these blurry "scans" themselves. It's just...so PERFECTLY unclear, just so you can't make out the little details you really want to.

edit: Call me crazy, but looking at those screenshots...does anyone else besides me see the dances for Me ga Au Toki, "HELLO!!", and Ippai Ippai?

Secret (spontaneous) communications, plotline events (The pic there is of Ryuuguu, so I assume you interact with them all the time? That'd be great...), collaboration with these guys, something about Kotori (probably small), something about stats. Though I guess I kinda expected most of that.

Depending on the score you get, you can have an encore, and only put one or two idols on stage if you want.

Oh yeah... limited edition merchandise can be found used without too much difficulty if you're physically in Japan...
