Even though the name is iM@S2, I wouldn't really just consider it the 2nd game...since L4U and SP got as much attention as they did (tons of DLC, good sales, long lives, etc.).

You could even count DS if you wanted, but then we'll have people popping in here saying it doesn't exist/it's a doujin game/etc. etc.

and...I'm a bit surprised that sort of reaction (reminds you of that one meme, doesn't it?) was shown on a program...though I guess NBGI doesn't have to authorize that, huh?

I think it kinda sucks so many people are having a negative reaction to this. I'm excited for it, personally

I honestly don't understand why people have such a problem with male idols in im@s. I personally don't have any problem with male idols being in the game. As long as that Damn Touma stays away from Yukiho.

I found it funny when the female idols were shown the crowd cheered with their glowsticks but when male idols were shown the crowd was just like "What the hell is this?"

You got to admit, their song Alice or Guilty is pretty addicting.

Well, we did have Lucky Star Net-idol Meister.

lol I got reminded of Konata's reason for being an idol there.

When you get to the third game in the series, that's the point I think you need to change, or stay forever the same. This could mean a new cast, or just radically new gameplay changes. Or, radical changes of any type, like what we're seeing here.

... Just something I've been pondering. I dunno, really... I'll be honest when I say they're just random thoughts.

Well, you made some points there. But one thing some fans fail to see is that in order to stay fresh and keep up with the current titles, you gotta change some things. We had that, yet (most of) the fanbase failed to be pleased.

That's the reason why they're complaining about Jupiter in the first place. Being paired with actual guys, that's as good as a stab in the back with a combat knife.

The good thing of Alice or Guilty is that while it's not particulary catchy the melody and instruments really give the song an "evil" feeling, reflecting the 961 style and the new "villains".

Usually I dislike watching these kinds of performances due to the dance usually being ruined by the inclusion/exclusion of particular elements or just the lack of talent whlist performing. Apparently I lost hope too soon.

That was actually pretty damn cool to watch. Loved the niconico reaction to them both flipping at the same time, so much おおおおおおおおおおおお across the video it's not even funny. Well, actually it is.

Well, despite everyone's complaints, they're doing this. You'll need Im@sMobile to vote, though, so... that kills it for all but like, 2 of us.

But for Smoky Thrill... there's a vote going on for that, too.

They're giving Producer a singing voice?!? Uh... couldn't they just put Shachou in? I mean, I can sing myself, and if the voice that's supposed to be representing me isn't my own, well... that's just strange.

Well... maybe there'll be some portions left unsung for you to sing along to.

EDIT: This vote is for The World is All One, they've just added these three groups to that running. There is no running for Smoky Thrill, to my knowledge.

I'd go for Group F, just because. Can we not have Shachou sing though? He'll ruin the whole damn song for me... And I have a feeling that the Producer's lines will be silent and they'll expect im@s otakus to sing along happily and cheerfully. Hey, that could make some hilariously sad niconico videos, right?

Then again, you might have people with actual talent sing in his place. That'd be cool. I just hope NBGI doesn't give the Producer a voice, 'cause that wouldn't make sense.
