I left town (again OTZ) and missed the release of PV2. And I finally get my answer! Mami has shorts and Ami has a skirt. Must create trio with both of them in it...

Must say, the part where Yayoi and Yukiho were on their knees was a bit weird-looking...(though I suppose, like everything else, I'll get used to it after I watch the video a few times). I do think it's interesting in that it's something that's definitely never been done before. Also...I'm loving Azusa's haircut more and more as we see more of it

5 idols on stage is so much to look at all at once...but I love it. So many idols dancing on stage! I do wonder what they'll do with other songs, as well.

Whereas they may switch that role in the (Cute & Girly?) costumes; Ami definitely has shorts while it looks like Mami may (or may not) have a skirt.

It's exciting to see them as separate idols with their own entities (though, they don't look as much like twins anymore, which is a little sad).

I believe they are the new version of Cool & Sexy. Actually, the old Cool & Sexy also has the pink color selection.

Maybe in Im@s 2 the outfits have new names.

I'd call them Cool & Sexy costumes, if anything, because they're mostly made up of that shiny, sparkly...stuff (and, of course; them being pink can't be a factor; all of the costumes come in different colors )

Though, I can't wait to see what the Cosmic & Funny costumes look like. That's my favorite costume category

I was thinking about that, too. When we first heard there would be 5-idol units, I wanted to ask if we'd just be able to produce 3- and 5 - idols or 4- idol groups, too. To keep the stage looking even (and per usual iM@S trio-tradition), the "missing" idol would be the one in the center, which...would throw a lot of things off, I think

True; considering everyone's wearing skirts and she's wearing what looks like a pantsuit...I do wonder what they're doing with that.

I was hoping PV2 would show us some new costumes (maybe hope for a PV3?), though I wonder...if they hold out on us because they haven't finalized or even figured out what some of this stuff we're questioning is XD

Agree, there're still a lot they haven't finished. For example, "The World is All One" still only has the allstars version. Cause normally they suppose to shows that the song will change according the singers, which are shown in all previous PVs. Maybe they showed the PVs too early, perhaps.

I guess that since the minimum you can have on stage is 3, they're showing the "maximum" (similar to how TGS's iM@S360 PV had an all-star version of Go My Way!!)

When they showcase new costumes, they can also have idols sing individual lines so we can hear them sing one-by-one (no, but really, I do hope they left in the feature that you can pick which idol sings which lines).
