iDOLM@STER 2!!

Okay, I'm too lazy to pull the quote, but Shouta doesn't have Mami's face (note, Ami and Mami have eyelashes at the corners of theirs~). He totally has Iori's face XDD

And, destroying the old iM@S games and stuff was a ridiculously stupid idea. Really. They've showed us all of the Ryuuguu Komachi idols on stage with playable idols long before they actually showed us Ryuuguu Komachi. They show on stage with playable idols. You can use them in the game. Maybe not directly in story mode, but you can still put them on stage with any idol you want. Without a doubt they have a free-produce or an office mode, because we have seen this.

I hate that people who have the resources to actually play the game would destroy it like that because they didn't think things through with the evidence given. I wish I could march to that otaku's house and take his 360. Then I could finally play the game myself.

Neko-P:
... Am I the only one bothered by their saying four idols became unplayable? Technically, only three did- We still have half of the Futami twin "Ami" image that the last few games had as a single idol... And even then, like you guys said, the unplayable-ness is only story mode.

And honestly, I think the biggest loss was Ritsuko, and even then her change made the most sense...

Scotty:
I would rage too if my favorite idol wouldn't have her own story and be producible.

Whoever was the biggest loss is up to the fans, of course. And I'd give it 4 idols, because I know many people (myself included) want to see Ami and Mami on stage at the same time. (though, Ritsuko's really does make the most sense; she didn't want to be an idol originally, did she?)

I don't understand raging over it, though. You can still use them in the game.  :-\ You just can't use them in the main story mode...what modes they'll have in all will be revealed eventually, but we know we can have the idols on stage at least...

IdolMaster fans have been stunned to learn that IdolMaster 2 will be adding a trio of hot bishonen to its traditional line-up of pubescent girls, even as a number of traditional fan favourites have been dumped from the game.

Presumably their inclusion is intended as a gambit to broaden the game’s appeal to include the as yet untapped yaoi-doujinshi consuming fujoshi market.
The changes are likely to provoke a creepy IdolMaster otaku reaction (if not a rebellion) – announced before the surprise addition of “Jupiter” was the removal of of four of the girls (Iori, Ami, Azusa and Ritsuko) from the playable roster, infuriating their fans, as well as a change in seiyuu for another of the girls.

The fan reaction:

This fan reaction was when this information was still at rumour status. Then Hatima pointed out that it was just a rumour, but now it's confirmed. I bet he felt like a moron for awhile then.

At least that guy's happy that the news is true, or else he wrecked his shit for no reason.
