I actually really hope they do make a version of the game where you can produce Jupiter, it would be truly awesome to be able to choose your side and do battle against the other, play as either of the 765 set or as 961 and go against them. It would also open the game up to a whole new audience.
Going out on a limb here, but SP introduced 961's girls first as rivals, then they became playable in imas 2, could this be the start of something huge? Imas 3 with producible male idols? Bring them in as rivals first, lets the fans (sort of/or not) accept them, then bring them in fully in the next game? And I'm totally addicted to Alice or guilty, sorry but it blows Smoky Thrill out of the water. And yes I'm still a 765 supporter....lol

The blog post is a little misleading.
This pic was posted on 2ch right after the announcement of the Ryugu Komachi unit...by that time it was still unclear if they are able to produce, not to mention "Juputer".

i dont understand all the rage. to me its pretty clear that iori, azusa, ami, ritsuko, and the jupiter guys will all be unproducable. whats the problem? theyre still in the game and im fairly sure you can use them in a free play/office mode type of deal. its not like theyre cut out of the game completely. personally i really like the ryuugu komachi group, and having it as a set group makes it all the more awesome. it doesnt matter to me if theyre unproducable, theyre still in the game and you can still use them in free performance. im kind of mixed on the 961 idols, but it does seem logical to include more rivals. im personally hoping for an 876 group as rivals. hopefully that means we get Alive! as DLC.

There's no point in raging anyway. The game comes out in a few months, I don't think nbg is going to change their mind because a couple people are destroying stuff. If you don't like it, make your own game...
