iDOLM@STER 2 Now Yaoi Master (Sankaku Complex)
IdolMaster fans have been stunned to learn that IdolMaster 2 will be adding a trio of hot bishonen to its traditional line-up of pubescent girls, even as a number of traditional fan favourites have been dumped from the game.
Presumably their inclusion is intended as a gambit to broaden the game’s appeal to include the as yet untapped yaoi-doujinshi consuming fujoshi market.
The changes are likely to provoke a creepy IdolMaster otaku reaction (if not a rebellion) – announced before the surprise addition of “Jupiter” was the removal of of four of the girls (Iori, Ami, Azusa and Ritsuko) from the playable roster, infuriating their fans, as well as a change in seiyuu for another of the girls.

That kinda thing really saddens me, and also makes me a bit angry actually, the original game/games do not suddenly become 'damaged goods' because of a new development, and so destroying them like that is frankly the most stupid thing to do, if anything they should be treasured more if you don't like the new stuff.
I personally really don't like having a new Yukiho - nothing against the new VA or anything, its simply because shes not the same, however that just makes me want to get the original 2 xbox games and cds more. I will totally be getting IMAS2 as well because so far I thinks its just awesome. I can relate to the fan rage, as I have rage against Sega for destroying Valkyria Chronicles - the sequel on the PSP is horrible, and the third is another crappy PSP release, but am I going to destroy my original PS3 Valkyria 1? Hell no, its still my favourite PS3 game, and will be no matter what they make after. I was tempted to post my copy of the sequel back to Sega in the US as a complaint, and that's pretty extreme alone I think.
But seeing those discs, some limited editions destroyed like that, its just wrong,so many people would love to have those, myself included, it angers me.
