Though things look as concrete as they are (with said 4 idols being unproduceable and all), I'm still to wait for that TGS event. A lot could go wrong if speculation went around so fast, people might mistake it for the truth. After all, there are a lot of people who love them, so I believe namco would make a pretty bad move not to even put them as unlockables.

Just a thought, but what if Kuroi is acting in the background, in a sense.

Ritsuko and the idols think what they are doing is right but Kuroi is either:

A) blackmailing them

B) tricking them

somehow.

They wouldn't make a sequel that brings down the number of idols. That's like making a new Super Smash Bros game with fewer characters. Hopefully, they will make them unlockable in some way, or they would bring in new unveiled idols. Most likely the former, but I wouldn't doubt the latter either.

But there's some things I'd still like to know. Like if your still able to get Awakened Miki or not.
And whatever happened to Kotori? That's one thing I've been waiting for info on.

SP wasn't your average game though. 3 versions splitting idols and each one having an exclusive rival, all somewhat solved by Office Mode. Sure, you couldn't produce Miki, but maybe it was in order to balance all 3 versions. Maybe it had to do with Miki being Xbox 360 exclusive. Dunno what that exclusivity meant, if produce only or whatnot. But yeah, can't compare SP with a console game. Same way you can't compare this sequel with the rest, since it's not following past story lines.

and as for SP, from what I remember, people were pissed at first but the fact that it could be played worldwide made up for it.
