They wouldn't make a sequel that brings down the number of idols. That's like making a new Super Smash Bros game with fewer characters. Hopefully, they will make them unlockable in some way, or they would bring in new unveiled idols. Most likely the former, but I wouldn't doubt the latter either.
But there's some things I'd still like to know. Like if your still able to get Awakened Miki or not.
And whatever happened to Kotori? That's one thing I've been waiting for info on.

Come to think of it... trio unit minus two non-leaders, plus the four from Ryuuguu Komachi equals five idols. Hmm...
And also... I wonder what everyone thought about SP when they found out they couldn't produce Miki? I mean, it's taking one idol of ten, not four from thirteen, but still...

SP wasn't your average game though. 3 versions splitting idols and each one having an exclusive rival, all somewhat solved by Office Mode. Sure, you couldn't produce Miki, but maybe it was in order to balance all 3 versions. Maybe it had to do with Miki being Xbox 360 exclusive. Dunno what that exclusivity meant, if produce only or whatnot. But yeah, can't compare SP with a console game. Same way you can't compare this sequel with the rest, since it's not following past story lines.

She's pictured on the CD's, so she's still here somewhere
and as for SP, from what I remember, people were pissed at first but the fact that it could be played worldwide made up for it.
