iDOLM@STER 2!!
animagic4u:
Oh that's brilliant. Still gonna hope for an official patch though. The snow/particle/confetti thing is a problem.

It's not perfect so I assume it's some kind of program they're using...or something?

Hmm...This is just me, and I have no clear proof of it, but what I think they do is modify the game (hackers lol), edit it so the background will be blue/green/etc, record whatever they need for a MAD, and apply the same techniques used when using a green screen. Again, I dunno if they do this, but it's possible.

Woohoo, I was a little bit right! *clueless about video editing stuff*
I think it led to a pretty impressive end result given what the original source was, but I guess in the end "if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself"...*crosses fingers for a free iM@S MAD pack*
...I still think it's just so weird that L4U had all of that MAD-making stuff built into it, and yet they took all of it out in iM@S2 :s

I think if they just did the blue/green screen method, they wouldn't have the problems you see in that video (i.e. pieces of the idols themselves disappearing from time to time, not related to stage-effects falling from the sky).
Plus, I think the edges of the extracted idols would be more clear if they had the blank backgrounds; some of the L4U MADs are pretty high quality XD

You mean something like this?

I'm thinking they're using some video editing software and removed the background.
Cael K.:
Okay, I've had this up for like a month, but never finished it. Well, whatever - this questionnaire closes in like four or five days, so I should probably finish it.

This is your chance to be heard by BNGI (for all the good you think it'll do), should you wish to participate. The survey will be held until 24 April, 2011, and is open to anyone who has purchased the game. On the last page of the manual, lowest box, last item, you will see a confirmation code. Enter this code in the input box at the bottom of the survey page, and click the 配送 (leftmost) button to begin. After answering the questions, the button at the bottom will take you to a screen confirming your answers (or telling you what you've missed). I can't remember anything past that, really. Completing it will let you download a special wallpaper.
BNGI asks that you spend at least three hours playing the game before answering the questions.
Most questions are multiple choice, thus a translation is feasible.
