And I think you can pay for things with a credit card, it'll convert to yen as you buy it, I think. You may be charged a 5% fee or something, though.

I've heard nasty things about credit cards and paypal fees, so I'm taking a lot of consideration before I buy anything internationally. I'll be able to play THE IDOLM@STER 2 in approximately 2-3 years, granted I can get a good JPN Xbox 360...

Yeah, but no one's tying you down and forcing you to buy it as soon as it comes out, either XD

I don't think Paypal fees are too bad. I buy through paypal when I'm purchasing in different currencies (though I often try to avoid that since the USD/JPY conversion rate is pretty bad). To be entirely honest I don't remember there being a fee...but if there was, I'm pretty sure it was almost nothing.

Just sayin', that's a pretty huge price drop in a very short time. I wonder what happened...
For what it's worth, when I purchased from AmiAmi, Paypal sent money in terms of JPY, whereas I paid in USD. When I work out the conversion at the time, my payment in USD was exactly correct to Paypal's own JPY conversion. However, note that I paid Paypal in USD, Paypal converted my payment to JPY, then Paypal sent the funds to AmiAmi, so this hinges on Paypal's conversion rate. I have no way of checking this reliably, though.
The internets give me a different (better) exchange rate from USD to JPY the day I made the purchase, but again, this is the internets. This would make the Paypal fee around 2.67% if it is to be believed. Honestly, a small hit like this is to be expected - everyone makes a bit of money on conversion. You won't break even at an airport buying some foreign currency then immediately selling it back to them - you'll come out with net loss.
Really, the only way to tell if there's fees for conversion for a credit card is to... look at the contract. You could also call them up and ask, though you might have to ask the right questions (as in, more than one) to get the entire answer (as opposed to some of it).

No clue where to put this, but somebody might like it? I admit I laughed a lot when I first watched it... and then the second time... and then the third...
