I hope Little Match Girl comes with pre-orders at Play-Asia. Because that's where I'm getting Idolm@ster 2 from. Along with my Asian Xbox 360 and a copy of the original Idolm@ster and Dream C Club, as of tommorow~

Nice find, Clear Blue~ If I'm not mistaken, it looks like the "new" costume categories are Floral, Luxury and... Satrry? Wtf is that? Wonder why they changed the name of the categories...?

Actually, it's probably the amulet categories now I think about it. I have no idea though, I'm totally guessing here with this.

... love Makoto's outfit in that screenshot. The Cute 'n Girly outfit in black looks very nice on her. <3

Translation about the picture you're talking about:

"Under some situation, if the idols have extremely low energy, or lost the audition multiple times, they will have to join 765Pro's traditional "Hell Training". Because of the training contents are confidential, therefore it has not been shown to the public, but one thing for sure, the idols' strength rapidly rises."

Thanks and I believe it's a typo. (Please mind that this magazine has a lot of typing errors.)
It's supposed to be "Starry".

This part is talking about different costumes will raise the idols Visual, Dance and Vocal.
"Floral" raises Vocal,
"Luxury" raises Dance,
and "Starry" raises Visual.
That way, players can raise the idols weaknesses.

The typos concern me a bit XD Satrry costumes and a Love Muisic Audition. Uh-oh.

But, you know, now that I'm actually playing iM@S360 and not SP, I think it's a bit unfair to get extra training only when your idol's tension is low (it isn't that hard to keep their tension high...and Yukiho keeps cutting lessons, which is hindering my progress :1)

Though, seeing that you can train all of your idols at once instead of dividing up the lesson looks nice :D

That does look nice. I hate dividing. I always had to have a high character stat girl on my team to balance out everyone's tensions.

Training looks scary. Haha! But Makoto is such a sweetie!  ;)

Hello.
I missed the previous 111 pages, I’m sorry. I’ve noticed the release date is now scheduled for Feb, 24th! It’s so soon! I might be back into gaming. For the last year my xbox360 was switched off most of the time. And I’ve been into real idols quite heavily for the whole year. You know, AKB, especially after their concert in Moscow, and then a tiny bit of Hello!Project. Tons of translations of TV shows and concert MCs (aka talks). But im@s is dear to me because it all started with this. The screenshots are marvelous. I feel like getting it even if I don’t have time to play it as much as I’d like to.

And.  Oh god, I kinda laughed at the "running into the sunset" XD; Hell Training just sounds like what some gym teachers made my friends' summer school class did because they got kicked out of lawn bowling.

Really, I think these small gameplay things won't be revealed until the game comes out.
First playthough will be you and the idols figuring things out hand-in-hand.

Yeah, I agree. It's doubtful that another pv or more information would come out this close to the release date.
I'm surprised they already revealed the fact that money is now a gameplay factor.

I wouldn't expect there to be one, since you get it if your idol fails a lot or has really low energy. Decreasing your group's tension when it's already really low and your groups' career is a flop just sounds mean. It's like... Chihaya Spiral times 3.

Although there probably is some sort of penalty. Maybe it increases the stats quickly but makes it harder to raise them in ordinary lessons. Or maybe it just takes a lot of time [assuming that IM@S2 has some sort of "time limit" like the 360 version].
