Thanks again for sharing that post-TGS Gemaga iMAS2 special. Shed a helluva lot of light on the gameplay systems; I'm actually quite surprised that pretty much everything's completely new. Thought maybe they'd at least try to re-hash some of the gameplay systems just because they can.
The morning greetings seem to be a little less random now, and the lip-reading mini-game you do before the Festival performance is a cool new addition.
The actual Fes performance itself looks pretty fun too, just not as interesting and strategic as the 6-unit audition battle in the original iMAS. Thank goodness it looks like auditions aren't going anywhere then; I was a little surprised when iMAS2's director explained that audition battles aren't going anywhere.
Does anyone know to what extent iMAS2 will employ XBL functionality? Obviously for Fes performances there's the point leaderboards (as mentioned in the video), but have they talked about any other sort of online interactivity apart from that?
