You remember the whole death threat thing way back. We'll have to wait for more info to be sure as to who voices Yukiho but I think Yurishii will keep the job.

It's just a rumor, but no Yurishii at live, no scene in the trailer showing Yukiho talking (though she's singing lol) just caused some unrest within the Yukiho-loving community.

Chronologically speaking, do you think they are going to place this sometime after the first game or are they going to throw that out altogether and start fresh... again?

Other than that some comments on the idols:
Azusa-san looks amazing with short hair, pretty good for my first favorite idol. My onee-san wouldn't happen to be engaged to someone now would she? hihihi~
Ami-chan and Mami-chan apparently got a growth spurt in a matter of a year.
Iori-chan looks good but she's covering up her forehead.
I don't know why I think this, but I think they made Makoto-chan more ambiguous than before.
Ritsuko-san is definitely pulling off that Sarah Palin look. Why does everyone do that nowadays?
Miki-chan looks good loose.

Since Takane and Hibiki in it, it might seem that it takes place after SP and DS, assuming that the story does continue on from the previous games. But then NB says that the game takes place 6 months after the idols made their debut from the original game, which either means SP never happened and Takane and Hibiki were there from the start.

How about the prototype?
hibiki and takane were originally part of 765 in the prototype before they were removed from the arcade.

I take this more as a final fantasy kinda deal.

Every canon iDOLM@STER game has a new story that disregards the last. By canon, I mean iDOLM@STER Arcade, iDOLM@STER, SP, and 2.

It only makes sense, since this one would be a fresh start, and have the idols grow 1 year older. I mean, producer joins at 6 months after their debut. No way this situation can fit into any timeflow you guys come up with.

I think it'll be cool to see the DS idols in HD (Eri especially). Perhaps we can have some new idols too?

They're stressing the trio unity aspect, and 876 is pretty much just a trio at this point. They might cameo or show up as unlockables.

Even if they don't I at least want Alive and DW in the selection. I've been wanting to hear some 765 renditions of those, but SP never ended up stealing them like I expected.

Was it me or did the song before All the world is one sounded like a remixed version of THE IDOLM@STER? If that's the case do you think we'll be getting more remixed versions of the old songs.

Just saw the trailer myself. Looks great! At first I didn't recognize Makoto and I'm not exactly happy with Azusa's new hairstyle, but I love that the 961 idols are now on the 360.

Wish they had made an upgrade to the graphics but hey, graphics aren't a major factor for me.
